Mariupol “on brink of capture” as Russia claims Ukrainian forces have surrendered - BBC News

The strategic port city of Mariupol in south Ukraine appears to be on the brink of falling to Russian forces.
Russia says more than 1,000 Ukrainian marines have surrendered in the besieged city, although the authorities there have denied this.
However Mariupol’s defenders have said that many of their soldiers are dead and the remaining troops are very short of ammunition.
The city has been surrounded for weeks by Russian forces and Ukraine’s government says it believes tens of thousands of civilians have died there.

Why is no one concerned about the people deliberately killed in Mariupol by the Ukrainian soldiers? Civilians were prevented from leaving, houses and businesses looted, etc… it’s not just a few stories of such instances but 95% of the civilians that have been rescued by the Russian soldiers are so thankful and happy to see them that the sincere gratitude is visible in their expressions and noticeable in their tone when speaking. It’s horrific what the Ukrainian soldiers are capable of, you all thought that the people murdering Jews in concentration camps and shooting them into mass graves were monsters, and how such a person could become so heartless and indifferent on the meaning and value of life itself, so many Ukrainian soldiers are just as inhumane and vicious and maybe even more so in some occasions. Example is Azov battalion soldiers capturing a Russian soldier POWs torturing them, shooting them in their feet, cutting off their testicles, killing off the injured soldiers and the worst example is of one poor orphaned Russian soldier that volunteered was crucified to a cross and lifted up to hang them poured gasoline and set on fire 🔥… these sociopaths record videos while performing such abuse and executions and then post them on Telegram to boast about their accomplishments. On the other hand there is not 1 Ukranian soldier that has complained about their treatment as a POW by Russians instead were so surprised and some shocked at the level of kindness and treatment that they received, medical, housing and dietary, even after some Ukrainian soldiers admitted to killing Russian soldiers in a firefight or blowing up couple KA-52 helicopters. I was truly sickened and shocked at seeing such brutality and cruelty, and yet don’t understand how the US and the West is supporting these people and giving them more arm and weapons, do they really think that these people will stop even if Russia just dropped their denazification efforts nope, that country has soo much weapons the crime wouldn’t stop and would spill over into bordering European countries for sure!! Stop believing these organized and staged “massacres” like Buchy where many civilians have spoken up for the truth and said that Russian soldiers treated them very well while they were positioned in the area, provided humanitarian assistance like pharmaceuticals and food supplies and that after the Russians left the Ukrainian SBU soldiers entered and told everyone to go and hide in the basement while they perform a security sweep, then heard gun shots throughout the area, others have stated that all of the bodies that were in the morgue were staged around the town and after 3 days when it was completed they invited the news crews and all of the sudden yelled war crimes on every western news channel! Some local civilians were being offered large sums of money or a paid trip to any European country with all housing amenities and food vouchers to just go on camera and recite a script or the scenario they have written down for them and accuse Russia for all of the murders in Buchy and how brutal they were to the locals when in the area, however they turned out to have higher morals and refused, only to speak up against them on social media and to independent reporters… Read some independent news reporters from Germany and United States that have been in Buchy and Mariupol and learn the truth!

I watch and study different sources of information, but I often notice how the BBC tells only THEIR point of view, ignoring alternative ones. Although there is a huge amount of contradictory information on the web with different proofs. There are already thousands of videos of residents of Mariupol, where they, hiding in basements, tell how the "defenders" of Azov did not let them out of the city for evacuation, came to residential quarters with tanks and mobile mortars and called fire on themselves, after which the return bombs arrived (There are hundreds of similar videos on the "Patrick Lancaster" channel. They often talk about shelling by the DPR, but at the same time they claim that Azov specifically provokes them by shooting directly from residential areas and hiding between schools and hospitals). How the APU stole all ambulances from the hospital, and volunteers brought the wounded in their arms. How the Ukrainian troops took all the food, retreated to the factory and fired at civilians, who had to run out under fire for water. Why does the BBC persistently ignore such interviews of residents of the city? Can they be fired in the West for this? Does this not fit into the general anti-Russian propaganda? I am already silent about the inhuman cruelty towards prisoners of war by Ukrainian soldiers. But in the DPR, the prisoners of war were fed, cured and allowed to call their relatives so that they would not worry. Even the nationalists were given the necessary help. They had headquarters in mariupol so maybe plenty of provisions. Plus there will have been a lot of looting.
