Amazing song, The Gael, written by Dougie MacLean and mistakenly thought to be outwith copyright. Given how timeless and universal the song sonds it has the feel of something much older. This is one film I can watch again and again. The end scene with Russell Means, Madelaine Stowe, Daniel Day Lewis makes me wonder the different thoughts they must have going through their minds. Wes Studi and Russell Means were amazing in this film.
