I think that marriage will be fulfilled in heaven, we think of marriage as an image of the covenant between the Lord and us His people (our wife being the image of the body of Christ, and the husband as head as He is Head), so instead of it being put away think of it as being brought fully into its purpose

What a blessing to hear preaching against self love. Especially since our society is so obsessed with self. Thank you for preaching the true word of God.

But if God loves us shouldn’t we love ourselves too? Proverbs 19:8 To acquire wisdom is to love oneself;

The commandment to love thy neighbor as thyself IMPLIES that one loves themselves. You would be gravely mistaken to believe people, in general, love themselves. If they did, and then followed that commandment, we would see a better world. If you spend most of your waking hours criticizing and hating yourself how do think a person will treat another?

James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as YOURSELF you are doing right. Eph.5: 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he Loves Himself ... 29After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church. The Bible say we can have a proper love for ourselves as this can help us to have proper love and respect for people just as Christ Jesus did.

Not so sure about the worship part. Ex 3:12 "You will worship God at this mountain", Ex 7:16 "Let my people go so they can worship me in the wilderness". Are we offering ourselves to God at these places or are we offering praise, song, prayer, etc? All these acts of worship you described is offering oneself to God through these actions.

he said to love thy neighbor as you love yourself Lev 19:18 you can't leave it out

you know when I first watched this, I thought the same thing. it says, " as you love yourself". I thought to myself someone could easily say, "well if I don't love myself how then can I love others?" But I quickly realized this was a silly question and was sin trying to justify self-love. you don't need to practice "self-love" to know that you don't want someone to lie to you, steal from you, betray you, or murder you. you don't need it to know you'd want someone to respect you, empathize with you and to forgive you if you mess up. So, with this I agree with Pastor Paul and the scripture. I don't believe God meant "as you love yourself" as a pass to practice Love of Self. God bless you sister

Pastor a friend of mine shared this link with me, I think your treatment of the text is well done. But I am concerned about your teaching on the state of the dead. I would love to hear your explanation of why the dead are in heaven and not the grave. Notice I didn’t say they will get to heaven. But you seem to suggest that upon death the individual immediately goes to heaven. Please clarify, thanks
