@@amsb4dafunk406 The priming system on my Hornady LNL progressive is too unreliable, so I gave up on it. I was wondering the same things in addition to if it has all the loose tolerances and slop as the Dillons in the tool head and shell plate that causes inconsistencies in the reloaded ammo. One of the things that I really like about this press is how much clearance / space you got from one die to another. I hate how my Hornady LNL in order for me to replace 1st die, first I have to remove the bullet feeding die than, powder measure and only than I swap my first die which is expanding and I have to size decap as separate operation or rely on less than perfect mouth belling from PTX insert in powder measure or use crappy lee powder measure with powder through expanding die.

This thing looks awesome, but I admit I would be nervous about running it at speed. I am very particular about having a 'feel' for my primers seating correctly. I use a progressive that is not nearly as high end as this one (Hornady) and it's not hard for a bit of crud or dirt to get into the primer slide and have primers misaligned just enough to jam things up. Easy to fix when it happens, but I need that 'feel' to ensure I'm not about to make a priming mistake, which I get with the Hornady because it primes on the down stroke.

Will the lock and load quick change locks work on this press. How hard is it to change caliber say from 380 acp to 45 acp to 9mm. What do you actually need that is caliber specific and what will run multiple caliber. Will the same shell plate for 45 acp work for 10 mm or 44 magnum. Can the shell feed be used for multiple caliber. And finally can the shell feed and loader be efficiently changed to go from pistol to rifle or would it be more practical to have dual presses. one that's dedicated to pistol and one for rifle.

It works good- primes at the bottom of toolhead movement. Slide bar and tube system, primes on-demand. When you have the swager engaged, it's fool-proof with military brass that's been crimped. If you have additional questions, feel free to ask!

How does the Mark 7 index? Hornady uses the whimpy little pawls that tend to snap off when a primer gets stuck to the depriming rod while using 1x brass. Does the Mark 7 have a more reliable system that wont break while running as fast as you were in the video?

Not once did you measure coal with a mic or powder drops. The case feeder bar is in the way, and makes it a poor design since it has 10 stations on it, they could have put it anywhere. Without accurate powder drops being tested, how large is the window of accuracy ? If its .2 grains, does that mean if I want 5 grains it will dump between 4.8-5.2 ? This would be a no go for precision rifle loading. I do admit they look very nice tho.

Tom Bryant A lot. Revolution version with automatic primer feeder, bullet feeder, case feeder and all sensors and autodrive is in price of small car. I think it’s about 15k. But that is really a production machine for reloading shops or clubs or top grade match shooters. 1050 with autodrive is still cheaper. Yeah, Mark 7 primer collator look awesome but ouch, whole setup is crazy priced . But I guess you get what you pay for. To me, my Dillon Xl 650 with all feeders (3d printed bullet feeder) is quite enough and I like still affordsble and relatively quick caliber change as I reload holy 3 (9 mm, .223 and .45)
