Stopped listening to R1 after they left , they were truly superb , laughed my way through so many miles of driving listening to them . Absolute highlight was the Bob Nutcher sketch , think I was on my way back from Glastonbury , had to pull over I had tears of laughter rolling down my cheeks

Mark and Lard. Legends. They kept me going while working mundane jobs in the afternoon in the 90's. daytime Radio One died for me after these two were pushed out in the early 2000's. Vindaloo Sunset, I'd forgotten about that one! Cracks me up! Mmmmmm baby! Miss them both! I'll never forget the Shirehorses albums as well. Their track "Tony" (reworked version of Eminem's "Stan") almost made me pee my pants the first time I heard it. Loved 'em!

Mark and Lard weren't pushed out. They ran out of new ideas, as they admitted many times, and the enormous amount of preparation each show required grew to be a burden.

When I started my first job as a youngster listening to these blokes whilst working as a driver's mate in Donny for Barker and Wigfalls was some of the best times of my life, these blokes made my day and hearing them again brings back so many memories.. Thank you
