The wrestling community is a brotherhood and sisterhood. And like brothers and sisters some get along great and some don't. The Briscoe Brothers were brothers, but also best friends. I hadn't been aware of these guys, but once I did I was thoroughly impressed and amazed with how talented and straight up decent these men are. I've not heard or read one bad thing about them. Jay Lethal, like the Briscoe Brothers, busted his butt doing Indie shows, small gymnasiums, 100-250 people until they were finally given a chance. Every wrestler has their "heel" eras and their fan favorite eras. So many times you'll dislike them. But the Briscoe Brothers were different. You saw their heart, their determination, and their commitment every time they wrestled. You also saw their gratitude. The Briscoe Brothers loved wrestling and it showed. As soon as I "found" them I became a fan instantly. When I heard about the horrible tragedy it really hurt. FAMILY 👪, FAMILY was the most important thing for Dem Boys. They were a husband, a father, a brother first, and a wrestler second. I gained such a huge respect for Dem Boys. How could you not? Jay and Mark Briscoe deserve so much respect, admiration, and love. This was beyond tragic. His family is so close-knit and, well words can't express it. I can't imagine what they were going through. Prayers, respect, and love for their family, and friends. God Bless them. I also want to say Thank You one more time.🙏 The Briscoe Brothers were a one of a kind Tag-Team! There's never been anything like them nor will there ever be another team like them. So one more time..... God Bless, take care, and THANK YOU!
@EdsterIII9 ай бұрын
Sorry I really went off point about Jay Lethal. I've always thought that Jay Lethal deserved a lot more respect and "fame" than he's had. His ability to "channel" the Macho Man Randy Savage is absolutely incredible. His impersonations are but a very small part of his incredible talents. He is an phenomenal wrestler. Obviously his 🎤🎙microphone🎙🎤 skills are off the charts. But he a truly accomplished wrestler! I didn't or wasn't aware of just how knowledgeable of a wrestler he was right off. I again saw his impersonations, thought that they were spot on. But once I saw him wrestle, and then wrestle again I was impressed and I knew he was far more than just his impersonations. But aside from that, from all of that, Jay Lethal is a good person. Respectful. And your comment was perfectly stated. Seeing Jay Lethal trying to fight back the tears and sadness was tough. The world of professional wrestling has lost so many incredible people. We've seen far too many pass away far too soon. Heart attacks, suicides, accidents, drug issues, and other issues. Guys like Owen Hart, Jay Briscoe, the 🇬🇧🇬🇧British🇬🇧Bulldog🇬🇧🇬🇧 , the Von Erich Boys, Wyndham Rotunda(Bray Wyatt), Eddie Guerrero, Chyna, Ashley Massaro, and many others. When an accident occurs and a father, a husband, a brother, a best friend is lost. Those are hard to accept and understand. The whole situation is extremely difficult to comprehend, and this entire tragedy was hard to accept and deal with during this time, and I too lost it on multiple occasions.

Sometimes losing someone that close to you almost makes you feel numb. Then there’s other times when you’re in Jay Lethal’s position and don’t have to live it 24/7, it really hits you hard in moments like this where you really feel empathy for the Briscoes.

I was a counselor at a summer camp when my mom died unexpectedly. After her funeral, I finished out the summer. I loved working there and it gave me something to do besides think about what I'd lost. I loved my mother and no one saw this coming. But having friends and distractions and something to DO besides feel awful every minute of the day helped. I still grieved and cried to myself and mourned and regretted and all the things that come when losing a loved one. But being able to do more than just that gave me a feeling of control that I severely needed. I suspect it's similar for Mark.
