For heaven's sake this sounds gorgeous! One might call this a "baritone-grand-piano". So dark, somber and yet very transparent and clear... I've never heard such a sound from a grand-piano. I know of no other living pianist better with Grieg's Lyric Pieces than you, Mark. 0:00 Shepherd Boy ("Gjetergutt" - literally "Goats Boy") 5:00 Norwegian Walking Dance ("Gangar") 9:20 March of the Trolls 13:05 Notturno (Cool, dreamy, magical) 17:53 Scherzo 22:10 Bell Ringing (Inspired by many church bells heard on a beautiful Sunday morning from mountain road high above Bergen, Norway.) All from 1891.
