Nah, Goering was just a drug addled ponce in the end, dressing up in his wardrobe of flashy uniforms. He made a big mistake before Hitlers death in trying to assume political power. He should of shut up and waited a couple more days until until Hiltler was definitely dead then the succession laws would have made him furher for a short while in the Nazi rump government and not Donitz. Either way, he was going to end up dead.
@muskokamike12711 ай бұрын
He took being a nazi to a whole new level. Hitler did it with everything but his uniform. Have you ever seen his plans for germania? and not to mention his mega tank idea. You can see the "pomp and circumstance" in all their rallies....with all the banners and eagles and stuff. They turned everything up to 11, Goring? he cranked it up to TWELVE lol. Funny tho, powder blue? A fighter pilot could spot that from 1000 ft easy. 1500 soldiers in panzer grey and here's goring in a powder blue uniform...he'd stand out like a sore thumb.

He was an old Somalian man in his 80s who served as an Askeri during the Colonial wars under Italy and 'reenlisted' as a corporal during the crisis in Somalia in 1993 by the Italians stationed there at the time. He came up to the Italians stationed there in his old Second World uniform and with his old rifle.

Göring was way ahead on the bling game. Like many rappers today, he literally wore "fake" medals, as in they weren't the originals he was awarded. They were copies that was permanently attached to his different outfits. Not for financial reasons obviously, not mainly for convinience. Swapping medals between outfits all the time would take too long. So i'm pretty sure he had fakes made of the diamond encrusted eagle too.

Fantastic work as usual! One topic that I would love for you to explore is the extensive research done and resources committed to Nazi Germany's development and manufacturing of new chemical weapons leading up to and during the war. An enormous amount of time, money, and intellectual capability spent on producing a brand-new class of chemical weapon (nerve agents) only to never use them during the war - and how that expertise was later exploited by the allies to produce the mind-bogglingly enormous Cold War stockpiles that were only recently destroyed.
@wayneantoniazzi2706 Жыл бұрын
Did you know the German chemical weapons factories were the only war production plants Hitler never visited? It's true. Even though Hitler authorized the production of chemical weapons he hated the things, being a gas casualty him in WW1.

Men, who were there because they had to be or wanted to be? I have letters from my great uncle, who was in the liberation force at Buchenwald. The treatment of the Jews was a terrible thing and the photos that he sent are a testament of the horrors. How does one become so terrible. Unfortunately, history has a tendency to repeat itself. Keep up the great work sir! Much love to you from Raeford NC, USA!🤙

Hey Mark PLEASE consider this question for me! so point number 12 of the National Socialist Program states resolutely that: "In consideration of the monstrous sacrifice in property and blood that each war demands of the people personal enrichment through a war must be designated as a crime against the people. Therefore we demand the total confiscation of all war profits." So, the absolute dazzle of some of these officials during wartime seems remarkably hypocritical, and given the die hard political loyalties at that time, i was wondering if you knew one way or another what their justification was? Or if he purchased these with his own money or something? any insight would be appreciated. as always, Thank you so kindly for being here and doing this. Your an immortal legend on this platform!

Now the collection will not be broken up and will remain together. I estimate that the collection contains about 99% of the military items they had during the war I have no idea how they kept it all and moved it to Australia as that is where my family has lived since not long after the war ended the collection contains their uniforms, awards, documents, photo & video albums and a Luger. They were Fregattenkapitän Heinz Stamer and Generalleutnant der Heeres and honorary SS-Gruppenführer Ludwig Stamer. I was told by my father the reason he accepted the honorary SS rank was because it came with all the usual luxuries of a SS general a staff car, pay check, ect. The interesting thing with the colourful crew of Hitlers inner circle is that they are all such wildly different characters. For me Gorings defining trait is his desire for the finer things and to live a life of prestige and glamour. He’s a stark contrast to Hitler in so much as Hitler genuinely believed the dogma that he was spouting whereas I believe that Goring was more of a fair weather nazi who was happy to go along with the madness to further his own desires. I think his alignment to the Nazis and Hitler was really just a means to an end.
