Near post is not a glitch, it is scripted because Fifa 23 has a scripted comment for the goalkeeper if they failed to protect their near post. It is easier to score if you target the near post rather than the far post. Goalkeeper will most likely make a stunning save for the far post shot, and will most likely look absolute dumb to cover near post

FIFA or FM, it’s a game where you need to man manage. Tweak your tactics to see what works and what doesn’t. Otherwise, no player on your team will help you win and you just rely on your controller skills and your brain. It’s very time consuming and tedious if you go down the tactics route OR you play like a pro and you know which moves are META and you know when to pass, you know how to dribble, etc. Or just don’t play FIFA. Play another game
