He didn’t say anything like that did he? He just said he’d love to sign him at United, as would most teams on the planet, I think he’s well aware that it’s unrealistic as things stand. Most of this clip was about the style of play and types of players, not Frimpong specifically.

I've always been a fan of a back 3 with wing backs as part of a 3-5-2. Or a 3-4-1-2. They need to cover serious ground though. Nothing like the lazy current squad cover now. I think frimpong and Shaw would do a great job as fullbacks for man u.
