He's a box to box 8 and not a 6. But as double pivot he'd give both solidity defensively and runs forward. If Casemiro going then we need 2 midfielders 1 specialist CDM 6 and another who plays that role well to cover the position. Midfield is Man Utd weakest position, many will disagree but that's why the defence is overrun and we can't keep the ball or dictate play. We have great attacking midfielders but no athletes or specialist CDM with legs.

FYI, stop referring to man citys playing style as tiki taka becos it is not. According to Pep tiki taka is meaningless. Rather move the ball with the purpose of disorganised the defence and create space between and behind the lines. With this def, I think man utd play tiki taka style not us.

Have you ever come across two experts or two United fan channels or even fans who have the exact same list of players to sign and sell ? I haven't. This shows that no matter who they sign, who they sell, when they sign...for what price. There will be an overwhelming proportion of people and experts who would be sad on social media and KZbin. Based on the number of videos dissecting United's season, you would think that they are on the verge of getting relegated. I don't think there's one outstanding candidate out there that fits the following attributes (except Klopp) - serial winner, PL/Big club proven, has a track record of building successive teams and plays an attractive style of football. There's another underlying pre-requisite that your manager should have, fluent in english.

He’s just that good he could play anywhere in midfield and even on the wing or as a 10 because of dribbling and passing ability but he’s best as an 8 where he can use all his qualities. He knows when to defend and when to attack and he can do it at a high level. That’s a pure 8 there.

I think it’s not very smart to say it is not his position when he is only 18. I’m not saying I want him at CDM. I’m just saying he is 18 and he can be whatever he wants. Players like Kimmich and Rice didn’t start their careers at CDM directly they learnt and evolved into it. But I would also love to see him become an amazing CM or CAM
