I wrote them a letter back in the 90's when Cheshire Cat first released. I said something about the cat on the cover and told them I hoped to have a band someday. Mark hand wrote me a letter back. He thanked me for being a fan and encouraged me to follow the dream. wish I had kept it.. I was young and didn't realize how cool that actually was.. or how famous they'd become shortly thereafter. anyways.. he's a nice fella.

For me it'is incredible to see how the visuals are inversely proportional to the musical beauty. The higher they are, the more the music sucks. What a shame, 500k visual for touching 2 strings for 3 minutes

It really does seem like it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.. everything he’s ever done publicly has made him out to be one of the most likeable musicians. Regardless, Mark has lived a hell of a 49 years and accomplished more than most of us ever will. His legacy will live on for a long long time with these dumb little songs.

I was supposed to see my 2 favorite bands play together during the pop disaster tour in 2000 ish. Green Day and Blink 182. My dream come true. My friend and I drove from Thompson Mb to Winnipeg with the plan being to drive to Minnesota the following day, arrive around 5 and the concert is at 7. I fell asleep while my friend drove and a wrong turn was made taking us off course. By the time the mistake was realized it would be 10PM by the time we made it to Minnesota and pulled up to the arena just as the crowd came flowing out the front door. Missed the whole thing. My friend was a planner, so we booked the hotels far ahead of time and were right next to the arena. As I sat in the lobby depressed about what happened a group of people come in and they are surrounding a group of people ( I now know was the opener, "Saves the day" ). I saw an older guy standing to the side; it turned out he was a manager. I told him my story and showed him that I still had my unripped ticket. He asked me if I wanted to see their tour bus. Wow, yeah!. He took me to the tour bus and gave me a guitar pick A used drumstick from Green Day, and a new Drum Stick from Blink. I still have the drumsticks nearly 25 years later. I had my chance to see them play in Vancouver A few years ago but it felt like it was missing something without Tom and all of them bantering. I hope they do the tour again and I will be there.

Jesus 2003 Tom sounds so much better than the last decade. The writing on this album was also way better than anything blink has put out since.

I was never a huge Blink 182 listener but this is one that made me give them a deeper dive into their stuff. Also, my brother would always change the "you" to "Drew" to make me laugh when I was younger. Good memories!

i was born in 94, in the early 2000s my parents let me roam the record section of a book store the first album i picked out, luckily, was your 2003 album. ive never looked back since. idk why i picked it but it looked cool. i got home, listened to it, and fell in love. people are gonna say its bs but it was my first album; before that it was all my parents music which i still love heavily.

When I first heard this song in 2003, my thought was WTF happened to blink? Since then, it has become one of my undisputed all-time favorites. Such a classic.
