I'm afraid I just don't agree with Mark. I saw a preview + Q&A with the director and producer; it was good to hear them speak about how much they'd held their ground with refusing to compromise on aspects of the film. But, even though I had a similar experience of hoarding in my childhood home, I really didn't feel the film managed to say anything beyond documenting a sporadic few experiences of what life was like. And, though Mark didn't mention it in his review, I found the constant stream of nursery rhymes and aphorisms which comprised much of the dialogue quite difficult to grasp too in what it was supposed to convey. I am absolutely happy to support it as a well intentioned independent cinema release, but I would struggle to recommend it to my own family and friends.

It's an outstanding and disturbing film. It will trigger lots of feelings. One of the comments here talks of people walking out. I would say that is evidence of its power.

One of the worst films I’ve ever seen! Half the cinema walked out
