This location in the title is what drew me to this recording in the beginning - plus the fact that it was done by 🎤🎸 Mark Knopfler! I NEVER get tired of going to Sicily (anywhere, but Taormina esp., and anywhere in Italy 🇮🇹 , OR listening to Mark! (Maybe one day I’ll be fortunate enough to see him there 🥰!) *** UPDATE: 4/4/18/24 - I’m going to be in Sicily this June, hopefully 🤞 Mark will be too!

The VERY 1st time I heard of him was in 2015, when I was sent a short (2-song) CD that had the song ‘Are We in Trouble Now’. This newly found ‘soulmate’ of mine told me the lyrics expressed exactly how he felt about himself, us together, the way we met, our geographical distances, etc. THAT particular song is always going to be my favorite one of M. K.’s bc for its special, personal lyrics - but I really do l 🩷 Mark’s others too!
