It sounds like Eric Clapton's guitar was going screwy and he was reaching to turn it off with one of his pedals at 0:11 (instead of Knopfler telling him to F off while he's doing his intro).
My dad took me to an Eric Clapton gig in 1991 aged about 14. Clapton was good but Ray Cooper stole the show for me. What a dude. Nathan Easts' teeth lit up the arena on their own.

@tigervv6437 Mark is credited with authorship, so he takes all responsibility. Besides, I'm sure he heard a few other words spoken that did not make it into the song. The words he used conveyed exactly what he wanted to say.
@tigervv6437 Жыл бұрын
@@kimmytuna5180 Of course, but they are not his words as in his own personal opinion. That is my point. Many seem to believe that is the case.

Elton John was the one who defended Eminem for using the F slur in his songs and how Eminem was rapping about what was going on and not what he thought which is the same in this songs case so 99% sure Elton wouldn't give two tosses if he used the F slur. Mark removed the F slur from every live performance of this song. Just for class and in good taste I think.
