I spent my career in government service. The way the government spends its money and contracts is a total joke. The classic line "its different POT OF MONEY". My response was always, "every pot of money has some of my blood in it". The system is broken. We need campaign finance reform and term limits. That would help. I am a state employee, recently we needed some concrete poured. We have maintenance personnel that could do it but it was put out for bids. The only bid was for $500 a yard not including labor. You can purchase concrete for around $135 a yard locally. The bid was accepted and the company, hundreds of miles away, called our local concrete plant, had them deliver the concrete at $135 yd and our maintenance crew performed the work. So the state paid the bidder $500yd, who then turned around and paid $135yd. No wonder government can't balance a budget.

Mr. Levin, I've been preaching your book since the day it was released, I bought a dozen copies of it and that was Christmas gifts to my family and close friends. Your book held the keys then, it does still today. Love hearing you pressing the topic. Every American should read The Liberty Amendments and vote accordingly on the local level, county level, State level, as well as the Federal level. Sadly, too many on both sides of the isle are indoctrinated by Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum agenda. They NEED America to fall in order to usher in their one world government and digital currency.

The problem is, as long as half of the American population, at least, want a massive federal government to force the other half of the population to live their way and and force someone else to pay their bills, a constitutional convention will end up passing amendments to make that harder to fight. Before a constitutional convention happens, we need to persuade a lot more Americans to support freedom. And that is the real uphill battle.

One part of the problem is the 18-29 year old age group, a.k.a. Gen Z - the most unpatriotic, anti-American, pro-socialist, and most violent (Antifa, BLM) yet. It is long past time to abolish the 26th Amendment and raise the voting age to up to 30. That's part of that uphill battle you speak of.

SSI was a stand-alone fund and solvent till the gov started borrowing from the fund. none of them have any idea how to put it back, there is a lot of info on this.

They'll never pay it back. Had they never borrowed from the fund, principle and interest would have continued to grow and would have been impossible for it to ever go broke. They just couldn't keep their greedy fingers off our money. There's a name for people that exorte money from the rightful owners of the money. But these government thieves will never be prosecuted.
