@@jayscrillins1475 I think the reason he let his guard down is because Magsayo looks like he's getting slower. But at that round before ko, the first 10 seconds I saw him go forward with more agressiveness and went switched to throwing power punches, that's when I knew he isn't gassed out yet.

in facing Gary Russell Jr Magsayo must upgrade his stamina and endurance. Plus he must master the trick of fighting on his backfoot cause Gary would drive him back. Gary has faster hand speed and combination. Magsayo's power and improved stamina is the key.

I didn’t see any issues with stamina. He just took too many shots to the body. He needs to stop trying to absorb it and get off the ropes. As soon as he decided to open up and not get driven back to take more hits to the body, he got the knockout. He needs to work on defense.
