Alison, what a wise, kind and sharing person you are! I wish I had you as a close friend living nearby. I dont want to make a name for myself as an artist only to enjoy producing something that I personally like and maybe hang on my wall and you help bring out the capability with your honesty. Thank you❤😊

Recently, I discovered that I could use Pantene hairspray as a fixative between layers of watercolor. I am a Canadian experimental artist. I am thirsty for trying new techniques. Thanks so much for sharing your discoveries.

Hi Alison, I enjoy your non edited videos, it is refreshing to know that I am not alone in having scattered thoughts! However, this can be a bit of a challenge for me as I have a difficult time staying focused on one thing. I fall into rabbit holes to easy it seems. I enjoy your process very much. Thank you for sharing ❤

The artist of that famous quote is Pablo Picasso. I love quotes. I love to write them myself. So inspired! Thanks for taking the time to share your art and the process. I would love to see your embroidery in your work. Looking forward to your new adventure in landscapes. That magazine is so cool! ❤😊

Hi Allison, Thanks for such an informative video explaining your process in mark making. I love your style and your philosophy around being creative. Can I ask you whether you used your Komorebi paints in any of the artworks you showed us as I am thinking of buying them. Perhaps if you used them in other videos, you might have time to give me the titles as I would love to see you painting with them, if at all possible. Best wishes from a beginner 🌺

thanks Milly! I do use Komorebi often, particularly in my last few videos from July... but I almost always mix watercolour brands when I paint (especially off camera), as this is how I have fun with creating unique colours and textures... feel free to email me if you need help finding a video.

I am always curious if you have tried watercolor ground?...and have you ever used things like salt, rice or saran wrap for added texture and interest?
