I’ve watched this one before…needed a refresher! I love mark making, but I’m not the best at it. Thanks for the inspiration!

Love this! Thanks Janet, this is good for the soul!!! Something I always find helpful is using my non-dominant hand. Then you have to loosen up because you have less control 🙂

Yes that is one of my favorites and eyes-closed as well! I often use these during workshops too! Keep up the great work! 🥰

Thanks from another Janet! I am making myself a set of cards with mark-making prompts on them, so I can pick a random series of cards and see what drawings emerge. This gave me lots of ideas!

Hi Janet! New subscriber! I love your painted pages! So vibrant and colourful 😍 I am doodling a lot lately (I was especially prolific during the pandemic!). Spending my time filling them in these days and experimenting with different mediums/stationery. So much fun! Thank you for posting this tutorial 💗

Great video. I was wondering if you could give a few demos of how you might do mark making of specific objects. Like a tree, or leaf. I find I want to sketch a scene and just hint at different elements, but don't have the "marks" to make that happen.

Hi Caroline! I’ll work on something like this for you!

Listing your tools in your description would shorten this video by 5 minutes. (You can also include your Instagram info there.) For many of us 9 minutes is a long video, especially when what we want to see are the actual mark making techniques. Thanks! Oh, did you know you can make videos in Instagram?

The marks on your arms are competing for my attention with the marks on the board. Can you cover or remove for videos? Some of us would appreciate it 💕❤️💕

Youre drawing from your wrist, no ghosting, zigzagging lines, etc... please dont give others advice if youre doing it the wrong way
