Coach Pope is so passionate about UK Basketball’ he is going to do some special stuff here at UK. I think he is one hell of a Coach and he will be here to hang banner 9 and many more. This is just my personal opinion but it is crazy how much he loves this University. It is so much difference in Pope and that other guy we had here last year.

Love listening to coach Pope actually engage and answer the questions being asked. Hoping that the Georgia loss will be a blessing in disguise that our Cats will learn from and bounce back from in our next game at Miss. St. on Saturday. Is gonna be a tough one am sure. Lets go Cats, go beat those Bulldogs!

We still got a great team. Just love to see Brea and butler and oweh and Carr just take over. Don’t be too passive. Go get buckets. Never stop shooting. Too good of scorers to not have those guys shooting every possession. They’re only gonna get better and I can’t wait for it.

What separates good teams from championship teams is the ability to stay focused and locked in no matter the circumstances..this team I feel they get in their own heads on the road, especially whenever the other team is talking trash and they start acting out of character. I think they can win Saturday, but man Mississippi State is legit. Their gonna be one of the toughest games all year IMO.

What I see is that the team plays great when they are an underdog. They play great against lower tier teams. When playing mid field they often don't seem to meet the underdog's intensity.

Robinson's problem is: he's thinking about his shot too much . He's pushing it half the time instead of just shooting it . When you shoot , you focus on the basket , and let it fly. He's thinking about his shot and letting himself get distracted as he's shooting. When he just lets it fly , he makes them .
@Nonameforcelord4414 күн бұрын
He plays in Slow motion but man he’s got such a beautiful shot. I feel like his confidence comes from him making shots early on. Kid could be elite if he’d get out of his own head.

I think he's bipolar (not joking or hating) on him. You can see it in him in 1st 5 mins of play. He's either going to be great or suck bad. He has issues.

The “whistling part of the game.” We know Coach, there was alot of B.S. foul calls against us. I always thought before it was because most officials didn’t like Calipari. Now, I see they evidently have something against the University of Kentucky. A game is so much more enjoyable to watch when the calls are either equal or nearly non-existent. It’s blatantly obvious if it’s really a foul, or if the official is just nitpicking and biased towards one team or another. I love watching ball games when the guys are allowed to just play. No whistling for fouls on either side unless it’s a big one. Those are great!

The refs are terrible and rarely terrible in our favor. But the effort hasn’t been good either especially Amari Brandon and Jaxson I mean the rebounding is a lot of effort. Lamont and Otega are the only 2 that go 100 percent most of the time. They have their moments of lazy but not much. This Mississippi State team is very good, luckily this team gets up and plays their best for big games
@captainmarvel961013 күн бұрын
Rebounding is 90% will, effort and want too. We are a soft tem. Just how it is. Hope they can change that some.

Yeah , the refs dictated UK's play and took them out of the game early on. UGA was going over the back and crashing down on Kentucky's players to get rebounds . If UK even bumped a UGA player the whistle blew . Georgia player took Carr down by his throat , but that wasn't even a foul. Go figure that one out .

It’s absolutely mind-boggling to me that, in the Ohio State game when UK goes 3-22 from the 3-pt line that they don’t plug in Trent Noah for his sharpshooting ability to give a spark. Then, against Georgia, same thing. EVERYONE is playing bad, can’t hit anything, not guarding anyone, not rebounding, yet you still try every scholarship player….except one (who is probably the best shooter on the team). Brea is feast or famine…and when he’s not hitting shots, you simply can’t have him on the floor. He can’t defend nor rebound. I’m just saying…as a coach, when it’s an all-systems failure, I’m at least going down trying ALL options….because in games like Ohio State AND Georgia, what can POSSIBLY go worse????
