They actually know what they’re doing out there. Even when the flow gets interrupted they just make a smart pass and get the flow back. I loved most of the Cal era, but the stagnant offense is what screwed us over too much.

We won a national championship in 2012. Pete pump the brakes a little bit. They've played 2 games against teash schools. Cal went to a bunch of final fours 2 championships and won one. Let's see if pope can do a fraction of that. And cal is the best recruiter ever. Pope may be great but let's wait and see what happens a little bit. Cal took kentucky back to it's glory days. The last years of tubby and Billie Gillespie was a joke. And cal rebuilt kentucky. We couldn't get recruits until cal came in.

They came out and the shots wasn't falling yet they still went up 20. I can see why Pope built this roster the way he did, he has defensive lineups with Lamont Butler, Otegah oweh, Jaxson Robinson, Andrew carr and Amari Williams, and he also has an former all conference PG in Kerr Karissa and elite shooter kobe brea coming off the bench with a spark that can change a game. So awesome to have a coach who actually lets his guys play instead of sitting courtside screaming at his players and controlling every move they make. Regardless if this team makes a run this year or not, i think the program is definitely in a better place than it was under cal over the last few years.

So cals championship run and all the final fours didn't mean anything? Hmm. Don't sound much like a uk fan really. Cal rebuilt kentucky when uk couldn't get recruits. With tubby last days and Gillespie days was a joke. Cal rebuilt our program. Let's see if pope can do a fraction of that. Let's see where we are in the Duke game. Then we will knoe where we stand.

We are lucky in Kentucky. Perfect timing, to hire Mark. I think this is mitchs best deal since hired. We need to thank mitch, probably best hire too. He's doing great job. And gives coaches a fair chance. I even like louisville new coach, they never quit, and were fun to watch. Payne teams were jogging, no hustle. Cards were running, and hustling, that's all u ask. Give it your all.

Pope described exactly what Cal used to do, and that's constantly trying to force and impose what he wanted to do instead of taking what the defense is giving you.

Don't go into the game expecting to beat Duke, instead be appreciative of having a coach who actually lets his kids play. Win or lose this program is in a better spot, and although I don't expect them to win, I definitely think they can. And it doesn't make a difference either way, because Kentucky is gonna lose games this year somewhere along the line, but their definitely capable of being a top 5-10 team this season.

I actually think Duke is an ideal matchup for us. Think about all those years we had young super talent under Cal and an older balanced team would make us look pathetic. We definitely have a shot at beating them

I know what you mean, but they also handled these smaller schools like you’re supposed to. There hasn’t been one moment where you thought they could lose the game or let go of the rope. Too many times Calipari would play down to schools like Bucknell or Wright State. Tuesday will be a huge challenge, but win or lose, this isn’t a team that will beat themselves.

What!? Oweh has had double figure points in almost every game! Kerr is awesome at assists and being somewhat of a backup floor general with spunk but he isn't nowhere near the shooter as oweh has shown us thus far and that's ok too.
