i think him saying soon now after confirming they are ready for launch is bc next thing we see will be a trailer with the date and it'll help hype it up. if he just said casually the date it wouldn't be as exciting.

Also with their track record seeing is believing. They've had like 10 months to have a trailer ready, they can just use the old one, nobody would care, as long as that shit got a release date, nobody cares if the trailer is from 4 years ago. You can't play a trailer & everybody isn't waiting for a "trailer" they're waiting for the release date so that they can play.

Lol he finally sounds confident, I'm just waiting for some else to need to get fixed, they gotta put this shit out, long as netcode fixed & gameplay is fine, put it out, F killcams, other modes & all that, they can wait at this point. I want a TDM but I can wait, I need that PvP itch scratch that only this game can but they just keep dropping the dam ball & now the ball is lost somewhere 💀🤣

I had not seen gameplay of the game until now, because I was not really interested. But I gotta ask why is the hud so clustered? Couldn't the scoreboard, ammo, frags, etc be thrown to the borders of the screen?🤔

It could be how he has his safe area set up since that determines where the elements of the hud sit on the screen. Some player prefer it to be clustered more centrally so they don’t have too look away from the centre of the screen as much as

I don't think I ever heard Mark Delay Rubin ever say "Very soon" before BUT due to their track record, I ain't believing shit. I hope this game is fixed & out no more then a month, been wanting for 4 years since day one of July 2021 to finally get hands on which I did with that last beta but with the netcode it was a huge disappointment & it did get better with the passing days but by then once I started enjoying it, it was pretty much over, I played for a good amount of time, got to level 27 or some, wished Sunday was extended to 10pm as I ended the beta off by quitting on one of the maps I hated the most during the beta solely because of campy ass snipers but dam, even with the netcode being bad, it was good to have that PvP itch scratched a lil as it went on, the first day was horrible, after that was kina tolerable. I just wish we had two primary's & had a TDM, everything doesn't have to be OBJ based, I just wanna hop on the game & get kills, teammates only try to get kills 8-9 outta 10 times, why not "listen to the community" & just do a TDM at some point. That is a objective too, I played hotshot but you did before you can collect your kills, whereas the zone modes/escort the second you kill someone it counts as a kill so I started playing those modes & going for kills🤷🏿‍♂️

the maps, characters and abilities need to be scraped and replaced with ANYTHING else. However from the alpha to the beta the game hasn't changed at all, so this is going to be the game they obviously arent taking feedback. Seems like the game devs are tone deaf and dont actually play video games, especially at ubisoft.

my little brother who is the prime definition of “gamer” told me xdefiant was the most fun he’s had on an fps game 😅 He’s played/ grinded csgo, valorant, cod, apex, ow+ & liked the new maps I personally don’t think they’re amazing but they’re new & aren’t bad. I saw the community’s reaction to the first alpha play test & I didn’t see anyone say the maps/ abilities were unplayable & needed to be scrapped entirely

@@yazan774 Main problem is visual clutter and every map looks like a scuffed paintball course where they just drop random props everywhere. Ive seen better maps made in farcry 2 map creator with limited assets. Their maps are like they injected a middle schooler with sugar and gave him a bunch of pre made assets to drop down and make a map. Some of the maps seem like they tried the three lane philosophy but its like they forgot what they were doing half way through.
