soon as i close my eyes, i find myself sat in the upper gallery looking down onto the dancefloor and the stage, theres a load of people really fukkin avin it, i have to move, i stand up, peek over the edge and look into the dj booth then decide to walk over to the stairs, i make my way down onto the dancefloor, slide round the edge and under the upper gallery i find somewhere i can really let go next to a bass bin, and all i can see is people havin a really great time in the best club atmosphere i ever felt, thanks for the memories, escape from samsara best clubbing experience i ever had, didnt just feel the vibe, tottally felt the love.....

Used to go at this time - '96 to '99. With hindsight, didn't go nearly enough, but it was great and I have the photos... life is boring now in comparison. Bring back Escape from Samsara the Fridge!

had to sign in and say i still love old school mixing cuts and its amazing who you met there ; all our friends we thought were lost for good . i somehow came away with a tape , that 90min tape was the mix i had ever heard , my car used to need it to run at high revs . I was probably there that night, I dont remember :), much of the times at the Fridge after Club Alien are a blur - a friend telling me someone was dancing naked by us was hard to believe until I really focussed and saw that yup! it was true!. Truth was easily found at the fridge in the late 90s! :)))))))))))))

One of my all time fave mixes, even more so because it's a live mix but technically is still spot on. The cutting in this mix was a big influence on the way I used to mix when I was playing this sort of stuff. I've still got this cassette somewhere under the house but haven't listened to it in ages because we don't even have a cassette player any more.

Wasn't this around the time that they had a mini car shell hung on the front of the venue? I used to get on with he manager at the Fridge Gary very well. I remember one night we were having a drink at the bar and there was a guy in who had a big pair of fake tits. I turned to Gaz and said its a sad state of affairs when the best pair of tits in the house are on a bloke! I remember chatting to the guy for a minute and watching him leave with 2 really fit honeys on his arms !!!
