The second i saw, that this is a twelve minute part, i decided to do anything in may way to be able to enjoy this part as much as possible. I tidied my room, cooked myself a nice dinner and got into my most comfortable clothes. I knew this was gonna be awesome and i had to make sure that i would experience this part in its full glory. Damn it was worth it. Its a 12 minute part but i made it a 30 minute experience. Had to watch some sections three times. This might even be a multi hour experience, given the time i'll be thinking about this part... damn.. Mark suciu making history right here

I don't mean to get all fucking intellectual but Mark has a degree in the humanities and reads a lot and is on some 'postmodern' shit. Like earlier in the part, he does the (patented) REGULAR BACK 180 sw front FIVE 0, then a NOLLIE FRONT 180 sw NOSEGRIND (both rolling up backside). And that is a mirror. But the 'classic' mirror would be rolling up to the other rail frontside, and doing an alley oop front 180 sw back nosegrind. Also does an alley oop fs flip over a rail... then instead of a switch alley oop fs flip, he does a switch alley oop bs flip. Dude is on another level, it's so great to watch. And that's before the ending part comes in. It's not always 'classic' mirroring, and it can be confusing. Watch it on .75 speed. And if you're feeling nerdy get a pen and paper out. Exactly what I did. Was watching the olympics with my sister and I told her that skateboarding is sterile. Later I showed her this part and she got it. She saw skateboarding in a complelty different light. I told her about how style is important,the spot,the skater it self,trick selection etc. There is a raw part of not give a fuck attiude in skateboarding and I also appriciate that side,but is soo beautiful when a person like Mark Suciu comes along and just does stuff with so much taste. He pays attention to everything and it all comes from the right place. He does it cuz he loves skateboarding and wants it to look a certain way. One of the best parts ever made.
