Nice. I was part of the landscape design team from concept to construction phase. The pool really turned out so well designed. The pool is divided into 3 parts (lagoon pool, lap pool, and adult pool). The reason why it's so huge!!

Just a thought. Because you don't like sweet things, you tend to only eat sour or salty foods. And breakfast you like to eat what you eat for lunch and dinner. Maybe you could get your wife's impression of the other food on here. I noticed it looked like she was eating waffles for breakfast. if she wouldn't mind giving her impression of the other foods that you don't like and don't eat, we could get a more rounded view of the food. Just a thought. The hotel you are staying in is incredible. So beautiful, and the buffet also looks incredible. I don't think I would want to leave!

That's still very expensive that is like 160 a night you can get a resort in bali for 100 for a really nice one or 25 for a villa and also food is more in the resort so probably 200 dollers a night not including flight

Here in Malaysia, we can buy a chalet which is a part of a resort. The management will renting out for us and maintain it throughout the year. We can inform the management earlier to make it vacant for us for our vacations. For example, Bukit Merah Resort.

I stayed in the Sofitel in Los Angeles. It’s very nice! I highly recommend it. I needed a weight scale for my luggage at 4am so I called the room service and they brought it up best service and very nice room I’ve ever been in by a hotel!

Ive been to that hotel and I can confirm is one of the best buffet. For reference, you can order a la carte buffet menu like lobster or egg benedict unlimited. there are also steaks, rib eye and tons of other choice

I was there in 2018. And, yes, it is as fabulous as Mark describes it. And the service! The staff! The best coffee I have ever had was in the morning at the breakfast buffet. I miss hearing the nightjars calling at night. I MISS BALI.

The beach looks bad in Sofitel because it is located at the Southeastern part of the island where Nusa Dua is. Bali is internationally well known for its pristine beaches, and a lot of Aussies surf in Bali, but all these beaches are located on the Western coast of the island, facing Java island. So if you check out resorts like Ayana Bali (South-Western), or W Bali (Seminyak area), or just any resort in Kuta or Seminyak area, they have amazing beaches and extraordinary views and sunsets that would blow your mind off. But unlike Nusa Dua, Kuta and Seminyak are the most touristy spots in Bali (With Canggu, being north of Seminyak getting more hip nowadays), so you will find it interesting that in the streets, you might almost only see foreigners plus people from Jakarta or Surabaya.
