Once a week is fine, helping the body flush lactic acid more efficiently. Your muscles are your metabolism and they will be responsible for burning fat instead of running every day with the risk of losing muscle. Your bones also need both compressive force and resistance force

Andy Galpin was on the Huberman podcast and they talked about the Norwegian 4x4. They didn't say it was meant to be max effort, for VO2 max training , they said it was meant to be 85%-95% of max heart rate for the 4 minute work periods. Which is pretty good output but its not max output. Max output (100%) for 4 minutes isn't really possible, if you can do ANYTHING that you deem max output for 4 whole minutes, then you have incorrect data as to what your specific max heart rate is.

47:34 OK 👌 I hear you loud and clear, I need to head over to the Prefontaine trail (couple miles from my house) hide in the bushes, and jump out and tackle runners as they come by. I figured he was gonna call upon me for something when he was talking about Eugene Oregon. I'm on it coach, these runners don't stand a chance. Is there any catch phrase or proclamation I should scream at them after the tackle?

No you can't. He's got great genetics plus he's been training hard since he was a teenager... competitive bodybuilder an all. But definitely can improve what you have right now.

Exercising to lose weight does not work. Exercise builds fitness, but diet and diet alone determines bodyfat. So sprint away! (Former elite marathon runner here) but remember, it's what you eat that determines your bodyfat levels. And sprinting if overweight, is a great way to injure yourself.
