Good day Mark. I like your Leyte ferry videos. I'm a foreign resident and travelled many times on Roble ships. Do you remember Ormoc Star? Probably you are too young! And how about the old Aboitiz ship 'Elcano'. I was a passenger on that Cebu-Ormoc many times, definitely before your time.

Yes I remember Ormoc Star. It is now in Roble Shipyard. The other one you mentioned I can no longer recall.

Elcano was a very old ship, it was the only one large daily ship on Cebu-Ormoc service up to 1990s, before the big three companies combined as 'WG&A' and introduced the 'Our Lady of.....' vsls. Then Supercat started in late 1990s and Elcano disappeared, to the scrapyard I guess. It always left Cebu at 11am and arrived Ormoc around 5pm, with the funnel smoke being seen near the Camotes about one hour before they arrived.
