Hi mark, you probably won’t see this but incase you do I just want to say thank you for all your KZbin content, I’ve watched every single video from The first video of you I saw which was the Lee Westwood video, you’ve given me the spark to play golf again I played from the age of 6 and stopped at 14, started again at age 21. All your Tips help me play better. You are single handed the best content to watch on KZbin, I watch you at work, in bed at home, while I’m cooking in the kitchen, even at the range. Please do not stop doing what you do and I would be honoured to play golf with you, it would be like Playing with my golfing idols, most people when asked “who’s your favourite golfer?” Are like Bryson, or woods or mcilroy. Mine is you and some people recognise you some don’t but you deserve every golfer to recognise you in the UK 🇬🇧. Again thank you for your content expecially Rory.. and lockey.. he’s so funny 😂 ❤️❤️❤️

"PERFECT MY TAKEAWAY" - Will echo a common refrain I am seeing in many of the comments below is how refreshing it is to have a KZbin coach admit that applying a misdiagnosed issue from an online source can cause more harm than good. Always good to watch and compare to what has been said during a lesson. 🤔

I love this! Just worked with my own “natural” swing to open my stance a bit to better “feel” dropping the club in the slot for strike. It would be better for coaches to teach what happens when you do things than when “just make a central swing plane” is the standard lesson.

Here’s a good one. I use to be 10 handicap 10 years ago. Had neck surgery due to injury of spine. Said injury caused calf muscles to atrophy due to them not getting impulses from spine. Hence can’t go tippy toe or place weight on balls of feet so I have to use mid foot or more of a heel stance. I’m 68 and started golfing again this year but as I said heel stance causes me to raise up and thin shots. I’m working it out a bit but do you have any tips? Thx and love your videos 👍

Do you use same takeaway feel for chip shots as you do full shots?
@kingjerm5133 жыл бұрын
12 handicap here. The only thing that works for me is “toe down during backswing” but unfortunately for me, when the club is approximately parallel to the ground I have no clue what’s happening. I lose touch with the club face. Even when I’m playing well I have no idea how to understand the relationship of my wrist to face position etc. this game is maddening. I feel I’m as good or better as most of my peers but feel I’m missing a simple understanding of path/face /wrist relationship. 🤷🏻♂️. Long time viewer here. Thank for all That you do for this games

Before this video started there was an advert for Nick Bradley’s secret power joint, apparently by activating my power joint I can hit the ball 300 yards every time. Well I say 300 yards, I mean Nick Bradley is only 5 ft 6 and he hits it 300 yards. I’m 6ft 1 so maybe I can hit it 400 yards when my secret power joint is activated?! What do you think Mark shall I go for it?

Update on this. Sir Nick Faldo has now joined in and he’s got a hidden plane we can all get on!! This is really exciting, only problem is, if everyone starts using a secret power joint and a hidden plane then the authorities are going to have to step in and roll back the ball because we’ll be hitting it too far. We will need a secret hidden ball that they don’t know about! Ps what is it with guys called Nick? Wasn’t that guy off the simpsons called Dr Nick? Hello Everybody! 😂

It was interesting to watch Ray Floyd's swing develop over the years. Through the late 60s he had a textbook takeaway. Then somewhere along the line he tossed in the towel, said the hell with it, and went (back, probably) to the exaggerated in-and-up backswing and choked-off follow through. That's when he started winning majors.
