i saw this when i was about seven,...played at a community theatre down the street...we stayed up late. one of the best times i can remember.] about 1971..... one of my early crushes....jane fonda in this film... her bum is so beautiful here. sorry]

Some members of the American Legion also called Kirk Douglas a traitor for having blacklisted Trumbo work on Spartacus in 1960, to the point they picketed theaters showing the film. I've never decided what to think of that one, but Fonda's actions were inexcusable.

@@W.Stryker I am a veteran, and have two friends who stepped on mines over there. Neither chose to be there and did not believe in the mission or the draft. Let us not forget the 4 million Vietnamese who perished, and did not get a wall in their honor! If you were a student of history, instead of waving your patriotism, you would realize, that Ho Chi Min, was democratically elected! After the Japanese displaced the French, the latter, attempted to re-establish French colonial rule, and the people wanted no part of it! Also, do you know that if America and the USSR had not split Korea and Vietnam into North and South, neither of those wars would have occurred and millions, would not have perished!
