What are the packages do we need for the markdowns to work
@eleos11 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, pandoc can't scale images from screenshots correctly. For that reason images' titles are going out of the lower slide bound. Any recommendations?

What is %-symbols used there (ex. `% Title of Talk`)? Is it Beamer syntax? Or Markdown syntax? Or Pandoc syntax?
@LucidProgramming5 жыл бұрын
Hi Valeriy. The percent signs are just comments. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching. Cheers!

@@LucidProgramming Got it. Then in which syntax %-sign is a comment? In markdown syntax? It seems no. In Beamer syntax? In LaTeX syntax?
@LucidProgramming5 жыл бұрын
@@ratxor Ah, I should specify. It's a comment in LaTeX/Beamer. The comments in Markdown are different. Sorry for the confusion there.
@ratxor5 жыл бұрын
@@LucidProgramming Then it is weird. You use LaTeX/Beamer syntax in Markdown. I suppose either LaTeX/Beamer syntax in Markdown should be somehow escaped. Or Markdown comments should be translated into the LaTeX/Beamer (%-sign) comments

@@ratxor Hi Valeriy. I think I may just be adding to all the confusion here. The syntax is used specifically to create the title slide, and therefore the syntax should probably be referred to as Markdown. Hope that makes sense, sorry for all the back and forth.

The transparent background is annoying to those with vision issues.

Noted! In my more recent videos, I've removed the transparent background. Thanks for the information!

which vim theme are you using?
@LucidProgramming6 жыл бұрын
It's not really just one theme, but a collection of things that I've put together. I have a whole playlist dedicated to Vim, and in there, one video that shows how I set up my .vimrc file for Python development. bit.ly/lp_vim
