Today especially in Britain where I live few churches would preach this its all seeker friendly book reports. I cry out to jesus for revival and anointed men and women to preach the truth under the power of the holy spirit. As jesus is coming and so is the anti christ but we are not hearing it much many have abandoned the truth.

I’m really sorry about Europe. Spiritually speaking, I’ve heard it’s much worse than America. We might have more violent crime, but a place without any spiritual light? A place that used to be full of Christianity? A Place of beautiful culture, becoming a home for all false religions, Without any true Holy Spirit filled churches? It’s very sad. Maybe We have more churches here that preach the true gospel because we have more land. I don’t know. The way I see it, Everything is really bad all over.

You are forgetting our Spirits. The soul is commonly mistaken for our spirit. We are made of 3 parts - Body: Our physical form (Meat and Bone) Soul : Mental capacity (Personality - intellect, the emotions, the will, and the conscience) Spirit: What people think the soul is. Us on the inside. (How we relate to God) (The part of us that is reborn when we accept Jesus) 1 Thessalonians 5:23 clearly shows there is a difference. This may be hard to believe, but yes. Look at Paul. He was actively persecuting the church when he got saved. People lost their lives because of him and he later called himself the worst of sinners. He might have even killed some of them himself. The Bible says to confess your sins in several places so you may be healed, forgiven, etc. (James 5:16, Proverbs 28:11, 1st John 1:9) You’ve confessed your sin here, so repent (turn from sin and turn to God) and renounce the sin. If you need help with that, pray through Psalm 51, which is the repentance Psalm. After that, read through Psalm 32, which is all about being seen in right standing with God. What I recommend after that is to seek out a church that understands just how strong the blood of Jesus is and seek counseling because it may take some time to fully heal your heart. I’ll leave you with Romans 5:1 in the HCSB, which says, “Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

I don’t think we All get this one judgment immediately after we die. Some of us probably do but some of us die as babies. As newborn babies we have never sinned or done wrong. So perhaps babies get reborn during the second resurrection and then get judge based on that life. Maybe they go to a waiting place when they first die. Or maybe God sends some of them straight to paradise because he already knows exactly who the baby would have become as an adult. but I can’t see the reverse happening where a baby goes straight to hell because god already knew that the baby would become evil. Maybe some people even get reincarnated and be judged based on a life where they make adulthood. I don’t think so though. Anyway, God is fair so whatever he does is just and he knows every persons heart. But the bible does not tell us everything so we really don’t have all of these answers.

This viewpoint is a bit limited at the beginning about no chance of redemption for beings outside of Humans and we have all been indoctrinated into it in some way growing up because we didn't know any better. Thankfully Jesus paid the price for all creation as Him being sent as a man was the highest sacrifice Abba could have sent. Every Spirit has a chance at redemption. We are all sinners. Every. Single. One. Of. Us. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. He is fully perfect and fully complete and in our sinful nature, we can’t come into the Glory of God. Jesus cancels our sin. He wipes it away so we can be reconciled with Him. Even if you live a very good, moral life, you’re still a sinner. You’re still not perfect. None are. But Jesus was. It took the perfect blood of Christ to wipe away our sin and act as our bridge to God. Bottom line, yes, you have to believe in Jesus. You have to repent of your sinful nature. You have to embrace the love he has for you that lead Him to the cross. If that alone doesn’t stir your heart and soften your heart toward The Lord, you should continue to listen to Pastor Mark. He will help guide you. I pray that you will open your heart to the Lord. He loves you more than you could possibly imagine. ❤

Wait, where does the idea that our souls are immortal come from? I have not find a verse in the Bible that confirms this. The lake of fire is eternal torment for the devil and the second death for people. The idea of an eternal soul came from Greek mythology. It is found nowhere in scripture. In fact the opposite is true. Several places say the soul dies or is destroyed. It pains me to see people distort the word of God in this manner.

I know some Christians who believe that hell is not for eternity, only will be eternal for satan and his demons. I can’t remember their verses for thinking this, but basically a loving God would not do something so extreme for eternity. I mean think about it, so many people go about their lives with no idea God exists, that they even have a soul. Then the die and are tortured for eternity! Doesn’t seem fair. Would a loving parent do that to their children? Even humans have compassion. We have so much stacked against us here on earth as well. Our flesh, Satan and his demons deceiving and tempting us, and of course the world is cursed. Anyway, some people believe hell will come to an end for humans, after satan is thrown into the fire, or something like that. Anyone else hear of this philosophy? Not saying I believe it but there are some good points in their philosophy.

In Romans God tells us why nobody will have an excuse for not believing that only Jesus saves them and if they decide against believing in Jesus they will be under eternal judgement...and a Holy and Righteous God is justified in honouring their choice for eternal damnation. All the stories about being burned alive or tortured come from the vivid minds of zealots who want to frighten people into adopting their horror stories as truth. Hell is just an alternative belief to Heaven, Heaven as described by Christians must be a stark forbidding place where all the inmates are being constantly watched and robbed of their personalities, where the punishment for committing the smallest sin is eternal damnation. Whereas Satan's philosophy of freedom, fun, adventure, hedonism and anarchy makes Hell an attractive destination for anybody who doesn't want to be ruled with an iron rod and wants to enjoy the experiences of life. There will be no rules in Hell, people can participate in all their desires and they will be able to expand their minds to indulge in all the hedonistic activities that are not available in Heaven. As the saying goes "Sex, drugs, booze, rock n roll and fun fun fun" Satan is not a bad guy and Christians have been lying about him for a long time, when the majority of Christians end up in Hell they will be so sorry they wasted their life on Earth praying to that evil control freak Jesus. Now is the time to re assess your commitments and abandon all the luggage Christianity has burdened you with since childhood.

So pastor, what did you do to secure your salvation so that you can speak as if you’re going to heaven and others are not? You cannot answer this question. If you say you accepted Christ as your savior, then many(a great number) have done this and many(a great number)will go to heaven. If you say Christ died for your sins, then you and everyone else are going to heaven because Christ did this for us. If you say anything else other than this, then you are relying on your works which is condemned and spoke of as worthless many(a great number) times in scripture. So again, what did you do that attained your salvation to where you can speak as if others have not received it as you have? Again, you cannot answer this question. By the standards of salvation in which you teach, you, indeed would go to Hell.

So what did you do to separate yourself from the fate of “most”? You can’t answer this question. If you say accepted Christ as your savior, then many have done that and “many” will go to heaven. If you say anything other than that, you are relying on your works which is forbidden and condemned 7 times in scripture. So again, what did you do that separates you from “most”? I think there should be a point made that those who end up in hell are those who prefer it to praising Jesus. If you prefer worshipping the one true God rather than living in a godless torture pit, you're going to heaven to do exactly that. If I could correct my initial statement, it would say that _any_ spelling or grammatical errors while discussing these matters is too many. I can discern the real meaning through the muck because the first two sentences set the tone, but the third would have to say, "If you'd rather burn forever _than_ worship G-d, your wish will be granted as well." That's not to say that the Holy fire of G-d would be a bad thing, but then there's the lake and thoughts of the gates and depths and so on and so forth. A lot is riding on this: In the dozen or so verses where hell, the lake of fire or destruction is said to be "eternal," "everlasting" or "forever," it's based on the Greek word _aionios._ If you google "aionios" you'll find many opinions about its meaning. There are excellent reasons to believe it should be translated "of an age." The adjective _aionios_ is derived from the noun _aion,_ which means "eon" or "age." Eons and ages are long but *finite* periods of time. The very literal Rotherham's Emphasized Bible version translates _aionios_ as "age-abiding." Young's Literal Translation says "age-during," which means during an age.

I could never wrap my mind around this concept! That an all loving god who is pure love and life could do such a thing. We are told to view Jesus as our father! I am a father! If my sons turned away from me (which they have) I wish them all the best in life. And happiness none the less! I wouldn’t ever cast them into an eternal lake of fire and torture and pain Just for not wanting to know me! That’s beyond cruel! If hell exists I’m surely headed that way because I cannot believe a loving god would do this to his people! Therefore I personally cannot believe in such a place! Jesus walked among us.. I was 2 thousand years late. In the beginning god was in the garden and mankind sinned! He left us and cast us out into the wilderness to know death and pain and sorrow! I didn’t ask for any of this, I didn’t want this. If I had a choice before I was born I certainly wouldn’t have risked it all and took a gamble at eternal hell! Idk what I was before I was born. A spirit with god? Or just nothing at all!! But after I die, if god loves me, he surely cannot send me to this place just for not believing in a person I never met.. who infact, left me on this planet alone.. jt was god who left me.. I need someone to make sense of all this for me! Because my logical brain cannot process this idea!! It’s truly horrifying to conceptualize such a punishment! And it doesn’t come from a loving place!

If Jesus said that hell was prepared for the devil and his angels, why do we assume humans will go there? What is the "second death" then? What does destroy mean? Destroy BOTH body and soul. The wages of sin is death, not eternal torment. I appreciate Mark very much but disagree with eternal conscious torment. Only believers inherit eternal life. Peace to you.

You have to understand that humans apart from God can only do evil, say evil and think evil thoughts because they are under the control of the devil who wants to reproduce the devil in them. God is the opposite, He wants to produce Godliness in the human. So naturally when the Bible says that hell is for the devil and his angels, it is also for those who have "the devil in them"...likewise , heaven is for those who have received God in them through the Holy Spirit. It's not so hard to understand...unless you're just like W.C. Fields , the alcoholic movie star who was found reading a Bible shortly before he died. " Fields, what are you doing reading the Bible" , he was asked. " Looking for LOOPHOLES" he responded. But , he would not repent and believe, so he will be in hell.
