Fry's was awesome! Used to go in there every week just to see what was on sale. Had to circle the parking lot looking for a parking space. People used to sell stuff they had on sale, on ebay, because their sale prices were so good. Then, whatever got sold on ebay, the person would go run to Fry's and buy, so they could ship to the ebay buyers. Go in and buy a dozen crock pots, lol.

I enjoyed Mark's honestly on Kohls. I was kind of thinking the same thing. I don't know that I would really trust in Kohls as a business long term. As for companies that used to be good, how about Toys R Us, Borders book store, and Enron? I would also add KMart & Sears, although they are not quite dead yet. But close, in my book. I think you could even add Oldsmobile and Pontiac if you want to go there.

Service Merchandise! Looking back, what a weird setup. A showroom full of stuff with ZERO inventory. You had to fill out a slip showing what you wanted, pay for the stuff, and wait for your order to come out on a huge conveyor belt from the back. Just a bit different than Costco!
