I don't quite understand what you mean at 7:25 when you say you have about 10 percent of your portfolio for TLT. I would think that means you're risking 10 percent of your account in TLT but I'm pretty sure that's not how you roll. What does it mean to have 10% in TLT?

😂😂😂😂 he doesn't know as much as he thinks! Good talker but reality is, he is no better than us! I've been short across all markets and never watch the news. Ps if he is a good as he says he is, he wouldn't be here looking for views or flogging his software 😂

I have a margin stock brokerage account, and ~9% of my portfolio is currently invested in $TLT, yes. I'm not taking a 9% risk on my account on a tight stoploss leveraged position, this is an unlevered position in my brokerage account. Basically, if it dropped massively in the coming year, I'd probably lose out on a few % in my overall account.

None of this makes any sense bro. Jobs data good , market bad . But I remember when nfp being bad tanked the market as well .
@freedominknowledge88919 сағат бұрын
Jobs data good means strong economy, less likely fed will cut rates. Yields are also flying.
@TraderNick9 сағат бұрын
It can certainly be confusing at first. I'll try to explain beyond what was in the video! Stocks dropped because yields are ripping, suggesting no rate cuts this year. This hurts outlook for companies that have been eagerly awaiting lower borrowing costs. This was exactly what we discussed fundamentally in today's livestream, and yesterday's video. Market wants solid jobs, but not too hot (threatens inflation) and not too weak (threatens recession)

Ok u have justified the gold market why it went up instead of down. What about the stock indices, NFP and unemployment, even hourly earnings were good. Infact the labour market was great today, this should have drove prices high especially on the stock market. But it dropped. Does this prove that price action is more important than the news? Because clearly it seems like so. Price did the exact opposite of what the news release said today

@TraderNick so does that mean the labour news that came out today meant nothing to the market? Because literally NFP coming positive did absolutely nothing, it was like it didnt come out at all
@TraderNick8 сағат бұрын
NFP was the reason yields went higher, it was why the market sold off
@sibonelelohlatshwayo77537 сағат бұрын
@@TraderNick if thats the case why doesnt the yields always go higher when NFP is good and stocks go down. Because its not like it was the 1st time NFP came this good and we saw stocks also going up. What was different today. What u say is, it means when NFP comes positive that should make yields go up then stocks go down. But that does not always happen.
@TraderNick5 сағат бұрын
Yes. This is why markets are more difficult than what they seem. Yields going up is not necessarily the concern. It’s yields reaching levels that make bonds look potentially more attractive than stocks on a risk adjusted basis. It also is reaching levels that suggest the Fed may not cut rates. Yields rising is not always bad. Yields getting into new heights is a headwind for long duration assets that require borrowing money to fuel long term growth (IE, technology companies, which make up a significant portion of the equities market NFP is only 1/3 of the key data pieces to look at. There’s also wage growth and unemployment rate. Almost always when all 3 of these are strong - yields and the dollar rise sharply (like today), and they’re at levels that stock investors are concerned about.

Thanks for the educative vidoe....Well Long term investor's know that the market and economy will recover eventually, and investors should be positioned for such a rebound, I gained $380k from bitcoin of 2021. Before the market crash, early 2023 i invested in bitcion with the analyst and advice of Kathleen Eisen. Currently am on a high potential profit of over 31btc’s, adding more at a time. Having a good financial advisor like Kathleen Eisen, it will add to your success in the crypto market.

As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direct I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.

I’m not in a position to offer financial advice, but given the significant amount of capital you're working with, it would be wise to consult a financial advisor who can guide you in developing a strategy tailored to your goals and risk tolerance.

Factos!!. After experiencing a major portfolio loss in 2020 amid the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I reached out to an investment advisor. They helped me turn my $420k into a seven-figure portfolio by providing the guidance and strategy I needed. Having that expertise made a significant difference in my investment journey.
