Those celery 'leaves' are a staple for my chickens. I get them from salads we make. Their so spoiled from corn on cob and water melon, they don't eat the ends you chop off! They go after the red grapes and fight over them, like their bugs! That's a great service to your community!

Never heard of Nuts and Bolts. In the South we just call it Chex Mix but you have inspired me to try different seasoning mixes on it. Can’t wait to let my Grandsons give them a taste!

That is the same cheesecake recipe I use - what's nice is you can use that ratio (1 block cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/4c sugar and vanilla) and scale up and down depending on your pan size and what you want. It's perfect.

In Texas we call it Texas Trash. In my family we add a can of mixed nut, the peanuts like you used, and generally an extra can of cashews because mom loved them. I've had the same struggle finding the Wheat Chex! I've checked several different groceries in the area. We also add Tabasco Sauce to our mixture. Gives it a little zippity doo da!

Your party mix looks similar to mine! I also put cheetohs, corn nuts, shoestring potatos, cheezits, and croutons in mine. I also use a whole bottle of worcestershire sauce and possibly more in it. I use lots of granulated garlic and regular salt. I think I'll have to try the seasoning salt next time! Thanks for sharing Renea!

I make vanilla sugar, which has the vanilla beans in it from the pods. I LOVE cheesecake too(plain!just like u) I have everything I need to make this & will make it was vanilla sugar & my homemade vanilla extract. My tummy’s growling

Keep in mind that marble isn’t recommended for cutting boards as it is very hard on your knives and will make them dull and mar the blade’s edge.

Love, love Snack Mix.. Oh, about the marble on your top there, I have a hunch you won't like it for a chopping surface because it will dull your knives, plus it makes a loud clank each time the knife hits it. I prefer a wood surface myself.

That cheese cake recipe is on the inside of the box of cream cheese, i just made it the other day, makes 2 pies worth :) and it's YUMMY!!! But NOT the frosting. I also live in good ole Michigan, up here in Flint/Swartz Creek .

We have to recycle and burn garbage because it costs us 2.50 for every bag of garbage we put out.between recycling,composting and burning we only put out 1/2 a bag of garbage every week. We only burn paper. Nothing toxic.😊

I love cheesecakes they are absolutely my favorite dessert But I have found out over the years that it Hass to be full Fat cheesecake not 1/2 fat cream cheese or it won’t turn out it we’ll be runny. A few years ago, I found a recipe for a pumpkin cheesecake with a drizzle of chocolate and strawberries on top and butterscotch. It was so good. It turned out beautiful. It had to be water bath well that particular recipe did. Last spring I took a cheesecake to one of Bruce’s daughters in May who was having a birthday and I left her the cake pan that came with a lid and handle. We had a barbecue at their house, and Bruce bought the ribs and the daughters boyfriend cooked them and then smoked them and we had sides and her other daughter and boyfriend came over and we ate the cheesecake. Everybody wanted the recipe, and I told them, the daughter had the recipe and they could make copies from it. Like I said, I absolutely love cheesecakes that looks so good. I wanted to reach in and Steal a piece.

Hi Friend, I have recently found MeMes recipes as well. She is a sweetie for sure. Your cheesecake looked so scrumptious. I have made that type of cheesecake myself. But it seemed more of this and that. Water pan in the oven, foil around your pan, leave the oven door opened etc. This recipe is so much easier it seems. It’s just me. So I’m thinking I’d have to precut it and freeze it. Can cheesecake be frozen? I’m thinking it can because I’ve bought Junior’s cheesecakes and they come frozen.
