Bought my first home at 59 y.o., three months before the interest rate hikes. Lost my home and will never have the chance to buy another. Me and my wife left for Turkey where we were granted automatic permanent residency upon purchase of a 75k condo. Food is cheap and tasty, people are nice, services and health are great. We do not speak Turkish but we are slowly learning. We don't ever want to go back to Canada who has done nothing for us except sucking us dry for 35 years and helping everyone in the world except us.

The air quality sucks in most cities. Strange that you think our health system is great, perhaps you did you experience the private hospitals only, and even they do not have such high standards. We have nice and nasty people like anywhere else, but I guess it is rather safe than many other countries....Still I wish you the best in TR

I was born and raised in Canada. Did 20+ years in the military and security services. After what happened through 2020-22 I had it. I will no longer support this utterly corrupt, totalitarian regime. In early 2022 I sadly sold our primary residence which was supposed to be our forever home, but I paid off our debts and converted much of the gains into precious metals. I escaped during covid tyranny with my wife and children and have been living in the rural countryside of Japan for the last 2 years. Plenty of ups and downs but every day we are grateful to not be in Canada, to have done what we did and made the sacrifice to our lives so our children can have a wholesome community and upbringing, and a future.

My husband is a senior Canadian military officer who has, and continues to express deep concern about the political trajectory of our country. We continue to stand and embrace the traditional judeo Christian values which created Canada, one of the greatest countries in human existence. Unfortunately, we have also realized the reality of our political situation here in Canada, which led us to down the pathway of seeking a second citizenship, shifting assets out of the country and preparing for a new life in the not so distance future. This decison has been challenging for my husband as he has devoted his entire life in the defence of Canada, only to find himself at odds with the 'new Canada'. Unfortunately, this battle is not one that can be fought and won by the military as it is an ideological war which has captured the Canadian institutions while indoctrinating the Canadian population. Each morning I watch my husband proudly prepare his uniform, head to work, and serve our country, while concurrently watching over 100 churches burn without consequence and complete apathy from politicians and enforcement agencies, toppled statues, a morally depraved public education system hell bent on indoctrinating/radicalizing children, political demands for individuals of european decent to be abolished from positions of authority/hand over land/personal assets, profound levels of political censorship and propaganda, increased hostility towards Christians and Jews, DEI/CRT employment standards for maintaining employment or being hired, politically classifying parents as 'threats' to their children, unreguated abortion, the extension of civil rights for certain groups (i.e. leftwing) and erosion of civil rights for others (i.e. conservative), increased taxation and cost of living, illegal seizure and freezing of bank accounts, iIlegally shutting down peaceful protests, erosion of freedom of assembly/speech/religion among many, many other factors. The Canadian Armed Forces, just like all other Canadian institutions, is ideologically compromised, and not just defends, but also advocates for this 'new Canada'. This is not the country he fought to defend. This is not the country or culture we will allow our children to grow up in. However, until our departure we will continue to fight and stand firm in our beliefs while petitioning our MPs, participating in legal and peaceful protests, joining like minded causes and educating the public. We contiue to pray to God, while concurrently organizing a life raft.

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world. Their are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia. Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

Okay... So I like this discussion because I wanted to leave Canada for the longest time... But then a funny discussion came up afterwards, and the person told me "there's a reason why these other countries are closing off their borders.. more people in a smaller region makes everything more expensive". Moving to another place is really just going to cause economic problems for that other place. The more people who have that exact same ideology will want to act on it. That in itself will cause economic turmoil for every other place. Why do I like the idea of being selfish and taking care of myself, we have completely lost the sense of community that we used to have. There are more people. Period. Will there be more people in the future? Maybe.. there might even be less, because less people are having kids. I'm not having kids, I'll never be able to afford those economic leeches. We all have a carbon footprint, and when we moved to another land, yeah we might be moving because we might a line more with their ideologies, but in the long term, it will only make things worse. Unless it doesn't, I might be wrong, but in my experience with seeing immigration happen here my whole life, My grandmother used to always say "this could become a problem if more come in all at once"... She's dead, but she definitely wasn't wrong. Edit: as a person born in Canada, I'm starting to hate people who run away from their problems... I can understand war, since it's literally survival of the fittest, but when you're just complaining about policies.. yes abortion take a plane and get an abortion, which is kind of stupid, but stand up for yourself.. protest, get angry, be the change you want to see. Anyone who makes any excuses, it's really just going to go over my head. Quit being pussies. As a homeless person, if someone gets angry at me for being stinky for not showering for 2 weeks, I tell them to eat it, bite me.

you can only say this because you are born here and you have it easy but for us immigrants who have to sell our properties back home just to come here, we came from a professional background and it sucks when we see refugees come in without even paying a cent, it pisses us off. But you know in our home country, try to protest and you get shot by the military but low key, we might become like that here in Canada.

@@smartphysicalfitness444 it's your last paragraph. We are incapable of doing anything that will change government corruption and incompetence. In Canada, laws have been passed to crush protest. Also Cdn MD - was looking at working abroad. Other than the anglo countries, did you find a website or service provider or country list where Cdn MDs can work? Ive been learning spanish for years but salaries are so low in LatAm that it's almost not worth it. Europe generally likes EU traiing and mastery of the local language. Any advice would be welcome. Cheers

So you were educated in our publicly funded education system, likely with Canadian student loans, trained in a hospital supported by our fully taxpayer funded healthcare system, all while enjoying life in a peaceful, secure country with no mandatory military service, but you leave because you can't get rich enough, fast enough here?? Selfish

@marianhof9755 are you insane? There are conditions to working here such as taking an unsafe ineffective 3xperiment. There is no freedom, peace, or safety here. Quite the opposite. Many have already left and are leaving.

It is easy to say it than doing it. If you are young and single don’t think twice just do it. I am thinking about this thing daily. However, i am not that young anymore and have no time and money to start over again. Having 3 kids that counts on you on everything in life makes it harder and harder. I miss smiling, i miss relaxation, i miss sleeping!! Maybe I can’t do it now but i am doing my best to make my kids ready for the future. The world is fucked up, fight or die.

If you have a pension you can move to a low cost country and live better than you can in Canada. I moved at the age of 64.

@@BbTenn Don't you have to do a 6 & 6 (6 months abroad and 6 months in Canada) or you can lose your pension?

@@D33Lux Not that I’m aware of. Lots of people leave and still collect their pension. One of the ways of getting permanent residency in some Central and South American countries is through their Pensionado programs. That is, you can prove you have a certain amount of monthly pension income. However, I’m no expert and there could be rules or conditions that I’m not aware of.

My family has been in Canada sense the 1600s in New Brunswick I don’t even recognize my country today so like most successful rational Canadians that have the means my family will be leaving. This is not good for Canada because guess what also will be leaving my Capital and by Children that would have been very productive citizens.

I do not recognize my “Canada” any longer. It’s one thing to expect tyranny, tax, corruption from government…. But the last 4 years taught me that our church, friends and family will most definitely call Gestapo on us and have zero regard for bodily sovereignty and human rights. I expect it to be those who we love that will turn us in round two. I’d feel safer in a country that respected human rights the past 4 years, and challenges the WHO treaty and money printing.

Alberta has one of the highest poverty rates in the country, with very little growth in jobs. Danielle Smith, is Ottawa's girl. Independence ain't coming with her or any politician, if they people want it, they need to take it!
