You can build what you like Puddin, I'd happily watch you build a 60's pickup body swap and then fix up a salvage Huracan straight after. It's the work you do and the commentary that I watch this channel for. It brightens my day and it's soooo much better than watching TV, much more entertaining and I learn stuff, sometimes while you're learning too.

What a great deal on that truck and VERY cool to meet up with the seller again to give him a little stick time! I bought my 98 S10 extended cab last year for four grand and it was a southern rust free truck but it only has the 4.3 in it. It’s still got some get up but I’d love to upgrade it to space shuttle status with an LS! Ive watched Kickass Brent do those swaps and he makes it look easy so who knows, maybe someday I will. Thanks for taking us along Puddin, it was fun!

LOVE THE TRUCK!!! I bought a 2000 with the 5.3 swap off market place last year. It was a step side which interested me because it will fit 12"wides in the rear. I put the cowl hood on it SS front bumper cover and rear bumper delete roll pan on the back. And 2013 Corvette anniversary wheels on it which were 18s on front and 19s in the rear. With a posi rear it loved them 12 wides. It's a ripper!!! Can't wait to see you C notch yours and put a respectable rear in it. Supper cool puddin!!

I've never seen you reply to a comment, but 35 yrs of tig welding and I can tell you that when you sharpen your tungsten, you dont want a circular pattern around the tip, you want the lines in the same direction as the tungsten length. Try both ways and you'll notice a big difference in your arc.

And dedicated grinders! Oneside aluminum and the other steel! I've never had a problem using my steel on stainless tho.....so two wheels is enough.....and really it only matters when you want have really nice aluminum welds and slick stainless
@FuhQ64Ай бұрын
If you back purge stainless it helps your puddle flow better since its not combating oxidation on the back side. The flange probably welded better because of the thicker material won't suck in air behind ot since it's not being penetrated. Good episode!
