We are in for a rough ride but we must not emotionally respond and stay the course. We aren't in a bear market, but nibbling on heavy red days has proven to be fruitful for me over 3 years of investing. My portfolio is built to create generational wealth in all markets, especially (ironically) in red markets and just surpassed the ~$1m milestone. Don’t sell when the market is down. Even if you are a DIY investor, consulting with a CFA that puts the time in to do in-depth research can bring tremendous value. This system has worked well for me!

If the fed cuts, the jpy gets stronger and begets more selling by japan of foreign assets. Its the same as a jpy hike. They be dumping ust as well, hence the ratemove down has bounced. The big question is how much of the carry unwind is left, will it knock over other dominos and cause a credit event....

This is a very normal correction taking place according to a number of analysts. Particularly, because a number of the large cap/big tech companies have skyrocketed in the last few months. The party can't go on forever. Large caps may still drop another 5-6%. This makes for a buying opportunity. It won't be long before the big names start posting positive gains again..... Long & short-term trading is generally safer, allowing investors to weather market volatility. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

What is actually "lost" here? We have the leveraged, bidding up assets with money they don't have, deleveraging. We have vol gamers getting hit. How many factories, schools, hospitals or road networks did we lose in with the leeches, Joseph?
