Larry Summers: Currency Intervention Doesn't Work

Lawrence H. Summers, former US Treasury Secretary and Bloomberg Television contributor, says that currency intervention doesn't work even at the large scale that Japan engaged in. He joins David Westin on "Wall Street Week."

The strong dollar is just relative (to other currencies), not absolute.... Prices climbing throughout the world doesn't mean they're not still increasing in the US (above the target rate).
