A key question for Airbus: Why are they willing to expand their A320 production line in China, where future growth might not be as good due to the COMAC C919 but show no interest in setting up a production line in India? Indigo and Air India combined have over 1100+ A320 family jets on order!
@hugochan2821 Жыл бұрын
Because of the intrinsic problems in India production. Everyone wants to move production line out of China, but they could not. Like apple, now most of their products are still manufactured in China, while small amount are produced in Vietnam? Why not India for apple? Actually, they did set up factory in India, but with defects rate up to over 50 percent, at worst time, out of 4 phones, 3 are defective, while China has over 99 percent quality assurance. There is a reason why most electronics are assembled in China. China factories are efficient, while good quality. For a million dollars price aircraft, do you want it to be built in India, where they can’t build an electric car, or phone, profitably while maintain minimum quality? Airbus will not make money at least for now if factory is set up there, and if it is safe enough for people to fly on plane made in India? Theoretically, as India order so many planes, it is best to just set up an assembly line there, but no plane manufacture dare to do that. Brazil, Russia, China, Europe, Japan plane manufactures all refuse to go into the market, for a reason. If India want to attract plane manufactures, or other companies to set up high end electronics manufacturing line in India, India should solve some intrinsic problems in the society. Firstly, people needed to be educated well. Just 4 percent of Indian are wealthy enough to fly on plane, so I consider them to be elite. But even the elite will just urinate and defacate on the aisle on the plane. And when we move outside the airport, some people literally die on the side of the road while no one cares, but when a cow is hit by a car, everyone will go and save the cow. These kind of basic moral problem needed to be solve first. Secondly, the living condition needed to be improve that it is attractive for foreigner to live in. Clean, drinkable water should be provided to everyone while local piping system. Now, the water quality is so bad that many India lose their hair because they use tape water to wash their hair. Imagine wanting someone to drink them? And a proper garbage and sewage treatment and collection system should be set up. At least this make the city smell better. And better housing should be built for everyone, and make the city looks and function better. Infrasturctures should be improved, and things like the recent train accident will be avoided. Near thousands die in just one train crash, in 2023. Who will want to live there, or even set up factories there. When all problems mentioned above solved, everyone companies will rush and set up factories in India. But I don’t see how India, with the world largest population, a big country to change in these few years. Let’s wait and see.

@@hugochan2821bro did you graduated from whatsall university, cause you works are not making sense here man. I think you should actually check the sources again. Also this is just for the starters. Air india and indigo have said they will be doubling there fleet by 2030, and also said that they will ordering around 1100+ aircrafts by the end of 2030, given that the number of airports will be doubling by the end of 2030, it does makes sense to order more and more, and they just won't stop there. The business opertunity is very very high, thats why you are seeing so many aviation related deals being done in recent time. Also TATA will start manufacturing C390 in the coming years, and it also currently builds F16s wings, also the jet engine deal where india will be manufacturing over 200+ F414 engines etc etc. All these means that the infrastructure will change rapidly over the course of years. One big order question: if Indians don’t get it they will build the aircraft way too affordable by themselves. Then airline industry is in trouble 😂 Check on what the country have done in last couple of decades.

Sad to see the avionics companies not going to make in India initiative rather prefer acquiring readymade planes.... Take an example of armed forces by initiating local production with transfer of technology even in 114 mrfa deal....
