I have a fantastic male mouser too named Sylvester. He was a feral but with 2 years of patience he's now a love bug. Normally mommas are the best mousers. I'm trying to keep the number of new mousers down by catching the ferals for TNR. It's a never ending expensive job. Thank you for the interesting story and the humor! Love it!!!

My Chief Mouser is a 23 pounds big cat with 29 claws 8-7-7-7. Not fat but a big Pixie-Bob cat. Nothing survive to him. When there is a flying bug in the ceiling he cannot reach he cries like a baby.

When I became a Postman early 70s, in theory, every Royal Mail sorting and delivery office had a cat 'on staff' for purposes of vermin control and usually was sourced by and fed by the union costs were reclaimed from a central fund
