With respect Mark, I believe you might've conflated UK airspace with the UK ADIZ. Air Defence Identification Zone. The ADIZ extends beyond UK airspace and is designed to allow a greater response time. So far as I know, no Russian aircraft has ever breached UK airspace without a pre approved flight plan. Such as for a limited number of air shows etc
@itsjohndell
@itsjohndell 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, ADIZ and sovereign airspace are two different things. But that last warning would be given if the aircraft was about to enter UK Airspace. When I sheparded Bears in the US ADIZ in the 70's we would only transmit a similar message if they were about to enter our airspace. Good god, I fell ancient...that was in F4E . "These incursions into British air space are increasing." You keep referencing this in the video. None of the Russian aircraft are in UK airspace. They would have to be inside the 12 nautical mile limit to be inside UK airspace. The Russians are flying in international airspace when intercepted by RAF aircraft. The Russians do the same for their quick reaction alert and intercept in the Flight Information Regions that are on the periphery of sovereign airspace.

AFAIK it is also better for the channel if the video is liked after watching or after some minutes, because the KZbin algorithm does not like seeing videos being Rated upon started up. Its a sign of bots and manipulation, and indeed that is what you are doing. You are not using the option to rate what you saw, you rate the channel. Thats not what likes are for, so I think it sounds like the algorithm really works that way.

The Tu-95MS can carry eight KH-101/102 cruise missiles on four under-wing pylons. This subsonic missile flies 30-70 m above the ground, and can hit fixed targets with an accuracy of 6-10 meters. Range estimates vary from 2,000 km to as much as 10,000 km. The KH-102 version is equipped with a 250 KT nuclear warhead.

It's probably a good thing they do it. To many countrys get soft when they don't fear being attacked.. Their are countries who have given up their air force as they don't think they will ever be attacked again and now they have no way to defend themselves. The only way to stay safe and to stop future attacks is by staying strong and always being ready which this does help with. To many people these days are pushing for the closing of the military to save money.. They don't realize that just because they don't want war doesn't mean that others don't.. These little trips allow the Russians and the UK to both get financial support for keeping their countries safe.. Their anti military citizens can't use the excuse that they don't do anything as a reason to shut them down.

In the event of an attack, do not run. They are agitated by it and will seize the opportunity to attack again. 10. Do not limp, either. They hate that even more than running. In the event you detect a nearby sea bear, or otherwise feel unsure you are located in sea bear territory, draw a perfect circle in the sand, sit in the middle, and wait for the danger to pass. They didnt take Crimea, the Russians and Ukrainians there voted for the referendum! Its 1 of the 14 points that Woodrow Wilson wrote of, on his nation states rights to selfdetermination! You 2 yahoos ought to educate Yourselves before speaking on MSM talking points of propaganda! And as far as I'm concerned and maybe you can ask yourselves why is Georgia a half member of NATO, why is almost All of the former Warsaw pact nations full or partial.members of NATO, and why the fuck is nato still a deal? In 1991 with the reunification of east and west Germany. The US, Soviets and nato agreed that nato would be dismantled, and that the west wouldnt take one step closer to the east, and as I and you see it that didnt happen. Russia was invaded twice in the last century, and over a 100million of its ppl and billions were destroyed. So explain to me how it's wrong for the Russians to question or defend there sovereignty from the aggressors of nato and the west. Cause I'm certain that in the last 20 plus years it's been my beloved constitutional republic invading and bombing the shit out of the world with its nato friends, and it hasn't been the Russians acting aggressively, or invading 4 or 5 plus sovereign nations, without congressional approval of war!

Diebels Alt countra-rotating propeller*, clockwise or counterclockwise doesn't matter since it just affect the torque which could be solved easily
@ilaser4064
@ilaser4064 5 жыл бұрын
@Waxel Punkt. vexonica is right. By saying they're counter clockwise rotating defeats their entire purpose, which is to counteract the torque a single propeller engine creates, not the vibration. It's like the Chinook helicopter where each blade spins in an opposite direction, countering the torque effect. You really should look up what torque effect is...

The airframes of the Tu-95MS and MSM today in Russian service are from 80s and 90s and they derive from Tu-142MK of the Navy. Different aircraft from Tu-95. The Tu-95MS's first flight is in 1979. Only cruise missile carrier. The "Tu-95 Bear" is not in Russian service since early 1990s.

Lot of sensitive people here. There have been somewhat similar reactions here in the States. Guess there are not too many who remember how it was back in the Cold War. Russians flying down the Bearing Straights. Our F-15’s, possibly Canadien CF-18’s as well, intercept and monitor. Went on for decades before. Now everyone acts shocked. We do it. They do it. Gets testy sometimes. That’s the game. Believe Mark was trying to explain to those who may have not known how these things go.

One has to question the wisdom in deploying (mostly) obsolescent aircraft of Cold War antiquity as a demonstration that modern Russia 'is still a force to be reckoned with' tbh. Indeed, whilst the 'Bear' is well named (and is admittedly visually impressive) it's still surely the equivalent of Germany deploying a few rusty _Panzer III's_ to demonstrate its enduring military potency!
