Hi from France, Hey,you know mate you saved my life years ago,no doubt without even knowing. I'm 61 now, raced road bikes here for 14 years i know where you're coming from. I only ride now for personal pleasure, but i know where i come from, three Paris-Roubaix,three french national championships, countless races (44 per year) yeah i'm not that fast any-more but i get a buzz when i'm on my little 'treddlie'. Great to see Melbourne, my home town,à like is the least we can do for you.
@marcbryant84823 жыл бұрын
Welcome back, never for a moment thought about unsubscribing etc. Mate you are blessed with the family and deserve it. For vlog content now may I suggest back to some of your basic but interesting material eg gear and kit reviews or even route comments. One of your strengths was always down-to-earth commentary on things we all share where we trusted your thoughts because it felt like you are just like us, not a flashy Tube presenter. We trust guys like you and Lama because its straight no bullshit in terms we understand. Anyway, whatever you put up will be fun, interesting and usually has a laugh or two in there so your viewers aren't going anywhere mate.

I lost 15kgs in 10 weeks this year. Calorie counting was the biggest aid. Just counting them all and sticking to it. Plus riding 300kms a week. Indoors outdoors. 50kms a day and a rest day. That's how I did it. Just commitment. You will do it. No need to do it fast though

Great to hear, I've just started with the same goal. My fitness pal calorie counting has been the eye opener I needed...

@@lumiqui yeah thanks all for the replies. Calorie counting and being really strict how I got down fast. Each to there own. Everyone is different. I've managed to keep hover about the 72.5 kg mark since.

2:25 You don't have to wear cycling gear for training/fitness rides. I've gone back to 'normal' clothes. Knee-length board shorts, flat pedals with sneakers(Vans, Converse etc) and just a Teeshirt (bands usually, Soundgarden, Metallica, Faith No More etc). The difference from drivers is amazing. Very rarely get any grief now, stark contrast to when I was wearing cycling gear. I'll never go back.
