Cut the flowers shorter so that the bottom ones are resting on the edge of the vase. But make sure that you cut them at an angle so they get enough water :-)

And cut the stems UNDER water = it stops air bubbles forming in the stem which would prevent water being sucked up the stalk. 👍🏻

About the flowers! 💐🌺🌸 Yeah cut those flowers a bit, also cut them at a diagonal so they can get maximum water intake. Have you taken the elastic band of the flowers? if not then you need to do that.

If you cut the stems at an angle every couple of days it'll make them last a bit longer; certainly give them a trim before placing them in the vase again -but it's well worth cutting the stems in a sink of water or under running water as it'll give the flowers their best chance to rehydrate. They look gorgeous! Congratulations on your exciting next step!!
