Hahahah, "the voice of reason" "The Peace Keepr" I like those titles actually. But I really just like being myself out there. Its just my personality coming out more openly. I tend to be shy when in public but riding opens me up. Its pretty awesome! That's why I love it so much I suppose. Tell the twins I say thank you and that I love that you all watched that. Great job Ben! Thanks for recording and sharing. Really enjoyed watching your lines, how you carved some wicked turns, and your commentary was awesome. Did you unlock your forks shortly after the start? Did your rear wheel hold up? Seems like a lot of people know you and vice versa. Adds to the camaraderie for sure.

Thanks Marco! My channel is all about my mountain bike racing so I always share my footage. Yes, I did unlock my shock and fork right before the first trail (Warm up). I dont have a remote for them so its all done manually. My rear wheel did hold up but my tire punctured on my 4th lap and I had to walk it out after my three co2 cartridges failed. I am one of the trail builders at Markham and am always on social media so I think that plays a big role. Oh, and I have been told I am a nice guy.

I actually ordered 3 bottom brackets from an Amazon mishap. Still waiting. But I was told yo change the BB. Does it just need grease? I put some in there not too long ago. Anyways, new bottom bracket it is.

The start definitely caught me by surprise as well. Thought it was going to be slow/chillin'. Ended up behind a big ass slow train when we got to the trails

Yea, in the beginning its a big bottleneck. It is not till a little through the first lap that you start seeing separation. It's still fun for me though. I mean, I was pretty far upront. Probably in the top 30 group out of 150 something riders. So it wasnt as bad as some others but it get crowded. What class did you race in?
