Hi everyone from Turkey 🇹🇷.I want to explore and also love Mexico.We all know our countries are in similar situations.A great culture atmosphere,some great natural places;but in total,two countries and huge potentials got too harmed because of unsuccesful leaders and governments.Saying all these to make you feel us trustworthy.We love Mexico with all sides of it. Last but not least,I hope I will be able to see Mexico some day.Huge respect from Turkey👋 🇹🇷

Chiapas is the southernmost state in the country of Mexico and is still quite a hidden gem. If you’re looking to escape the crowds of Yucatan, you’ll find Chiapas way more authentic and less touristy.Not only is Chiapas home to a number of ancient Mayan ruins, it also contains Mexico’s largest population of indigenous people.

Hi Mark, enjoyed your video, the first I've seen of your travel videos, and I've shared it with friends and family. One of my daughters just finished her residency in family medicine at Brown and is headed for Chiapas next week to begin a fellowship. From your movie it appears she will be in very pleasant surroundings. Is there anything about Chiapas that should worry us? She spent a week in Acapulco some years ago with a group and has traveled extensively throughout the world -- South America, Europe, Vietnam -- so she's not new to unusual settings. She will be driving to Chiapas, entering Mexico from Texas near San Antonio. Any information you can pass along would be most appreciated. Thanks for posting an engaging video. George

How was your experience with a rental car ? Parking, stopped by cops, “passage fees”, ...etc?
@MarkHarrison43 жыл бұрын
We got pretty luck to be honest, no encounters with the police, or any "passage fees" haha. THere are plenty of tolls when driving on the roads, however, the roads that weren't tolled were so bad we were wishing for tolls. Parking was always pretty good too, except tulum, that place is expensive just to breathe haha

Amazing footage. Looking into traveling to Chiapas. Did you drive your own car or hire drivers? I think I’d feel more comfortable renting a car but I’m worried if it’s challenging to find your way and perhaps even driving somewhere unsafe.
@MarkHarrison42 жыл бұрын
hard to say, we hired a car and a few of my friend's have also hired cars.... i've also heard it can be unsafe in that area. If you're by yourself then I would recommend a driver, if you're with friends then rent a car.

Amazing Video! I have a question for you... If you knew you were gonna become a travel videographer in college, what major would you have gotten? Something in Film and Television or would something in Business be more beneficial like Entrepreneurship or Marketing, or something completely different and why? I'm currently a Film and Television major but have been considering switching.

Hi Zach, I truly do value University. I believe it helps tremendously to fully develop a human and their ability to critical think and form fact based opinions/directions. I studied kinesiology and loved every minute of it. However, I also believe the best experience in this particular field is going and working for someone (in the travel space) for free (apprentice). Universities aren't equipped to teach what is needed to keep up with his ever changing world of social media and content creation. However, if you're looking to stay in traditional filmmaking, then the course you're on is great.

A Woman Shoots Her Husband For Stepping On The Clean Floor... A police officer jumps into his squad car and calls the station. “I have an interesting case here,” he says. “A woman shot her husband for stepping on the floor she just mopped.” “Have you arrested her?” asks the sergeant. “No, not yet. The floor’s still wet.”
