Marking the Cambridge Pitt Minion Bible

The Cambridge Pitt Minion Bible is well loved with it's slim and compact dimensions, but this is due to the fact it's printed on thin 'India' paper. Today we're going to answer the question - can I mark my Pitt Minion?

You know, I have been marking in Bibles since the 1980s. It has never once occurred to me to use a ruler for underlining and drawing boxes. Your way sure looks nicer than the squiggly lines I have always drawn! I may need to put your method into practice. Also, my new-to-me Microns are 05, I think, not 005. They're finer than my Sharpie Pens, but I think yours are finer still. I just ordered a couple of blue and a red in 005, so we shall see. 😀

Very useful video. Your ruler looks a little… unruly. I use a clear 6” flexible plastic ruler… curves to the page edge in the center of this or larger bibles and makes it easy to see that I’ve placed the ruler between the lines. You can get them in any office supply store for about $1.

Can you use highlighters in this? If so which ones do you recommend?

I think you’d have to be very careful! Zebra mild liners are good.

3 months later but I’ve used the Mr Pen Bible Safe Highlighters on all my bibles, they’re gel highlighters and DO NOT bleed through. Sometimes I highlight a whole square section and use a little bit of pressure sometimes and they have not bled through once. The do leave a little bit of residue where you highlighted but just rub your finger over it and it wipes it off! You can buy a pack of them on Amazon for about 9 dollars!

I used the Staedtler Textsurfer Dry on a Cambridge Concord and it worked quite well.

Can you tell me what’s the font size on the Pitt Minion? I’ve been hearing a lot of Sisters lately really loving them, probably nice because of their size and light weight! 😉

Hello sister the PM has a 7 pt Lexicon No 1 font. It’s a digital font but it’s not the boldest. I can read one ok in good light, but if not then it’s a wee bit too indistinct for me. Best idea is to try and look at one! But yes the dimensions are amazing. God bless!
