Love you videos. What about a Roth IRA for your underage children out of their payments? In such a case, would they not need a 1099 or W2 and file their own taxes?

Im in the process of opening an LLC for digital assets in addition to moving my self directed IRA to another custodian to earn yield . I considered them separate items. i’m thinking WOW if im understanding the S-Corp benefits I can tie both of my entities together by way of a Trust ? 💡

Thanks Mark! I mostly appreciate your stories about how you can spend more quality time with your kids and explain some of this stuff to them. Great idea! I tried paying my minor child years ago but I ran into the issue of needing workers comp in NY. Would your strategy of categorizing as "Other Expense - Outside Labor" allow the kids to bypass workers comp since they aren't officially employees?

I tried to call and make an appointment to talk to someone and it took 10 days to get a call. Then they ask for 250 dollars just to speak to someone. Wow. I just have some questions about Some things. And I have to pay 250 dollars. Oh boy

If the over 18 child has to pay 15.3% self employment tax on the 1099 income how much money are we really saving?
