I remember when I was in Dominican Republic on a Sunday driving to Punta Cana, I hit a nasty pothole that took out one of the rims. When I looked at the rim, it was seriously damage, bent and crack. As soon I've arrived at my destination, I was asking around is there anywhere I can get the rim fix. I found a shop that said they can do it. I was like no way that rim can be repaired in DR, the rim is a total lost. If it's repaired, the rim will leak air all the time. The shop looked at it and said, yes, we can fix it, how soon do you need it. I said no rush, take your time because I want it done right. The shop guy said, we can fix it very good, and I will Put my top guy on it. We can get the rim repair by the end of the day with our best guy, but it will cost you more. By that afternoon like 4:00pm-ish. I got a call from the shop, the rim is fix and no damage to the tire, the tire is still good. Until this day, the rim is still amazingly good with no issue. Big Shutout to the shop and the guy who fix the rim.

There is significantly more involved in running a company like this than shown in the video for sure. Your motor trader's policy should have ample cover, with an enforced hire excess of a bit more than £50,000. The ring toy cars that get rented out at Nurburgring are worth between £20,000-50,000 most of the time (Audis, VAG and BMWs that have high miles typically) and the excess on those is around 20,000 Euros + any Ring Company charges for recovery or damages on track.

I had 45-50 vehicles out at one time on long term hire. That very year I grew my business with my brother and ended up selling the whole Shabang at the end with the customers still on hire. The level of stress aged me and turned me into a right B**tard to deal with. My personality had changed and I was working round the clock. Almost had few guys die in accidents on our motors. On the plus side the old bill knew of our operations so when vehicles were impounded we were able to get them released and delivered to our premises which is rare for them to trust businesses in the rental game. Honestly glad we sold out. Made some money for sure but the measures were based to put in place most people wouldn't even see the viability of the investment and stress to ensure our safety and also the customers. Insurance policies are a one shot deal so without a real deposit and agreement that's court worthy you really are playing with fire! The turn over on our vehicles mostly was 6-12 months. Some required engine rebuilds barely 50/60k on the odometer. Only go in if you have the full workshop facilities in house to deal with some of the madness. I can definitely say this video was NOT staged 😂 Be careful

If you can spend 60k for 6 months, you can just buy the car on financing for 2 years. And that is the real reason these companies exist: they attract illegal money. People who can't get proper financing and even if they can buy the car outright, they cannot explain to police how they were able to afford it. In comes the rental, something everyone can pay for once in a while. Good business for the owner, but you are always dealing with people who might not be so nice when something goes wrong.

It is mathematics, they make good money and eventually the car owes you £0. They charge more than £2200 a day, so we simplified it after costs to profit £2200. When the renter had been "told off" you just showed them driving through a residential area lol i think you're allowed to rag it but they have the trackers for insurance

What the hell is the point of renting the super cars if you have to drive around like a grandma or they get shutoff ?

stopping the car seems very dangerous, if there is an accident who is at fault ?

Mark - loved this Fella! - I can't imagine the stress of setting up the rents and waiting for them to come back, think I would lose some weight!

Hi everyone. Just a reminder if you have to rent one of these things don't bother. Save your money. The influencer culture and social media makes these types of cars gauche. Best case scenario you have a lambo with 30k miles and probably $50k in deferred maintenance. Hardly something I would want for "free."
