Hi Mark, Thx for the tutorials and photography tips. Awesome 😀I have a question. I see you use both Lightroom and Camera Raw in Post. Why it's not one instead of the other? Do you have a preference or does it depend on the image? Have a nice day.✌

As a beginner, do I need the Photoshop add on or can I just get by with Lightroom?
@tilerman2 жыл бұрын
I would suggest if your a beginner start off with lightroom and get your head around that first. Photoshop, as you see in this tutorial is very complex and you need time to get your head around even the basics. And photoshop is more about manipulation so you need to choose exactly what it is you want from your photography. To get to the level of skills in this tutorial takes years, you won't do it overnight!

So now I have a question. I've been shooting for little over half a year but am I doing the editing wrong? Like I've only used Lr for edits and didn't know all this other jazz was even possible in Ps, is there like a quick tutorial on how to use all these features and adjustments to create a well rounded image?

Your creative skills are second to none. Adding rain to the circus pic didn’t show splashes in puddles. Is there a reason for using Lightroom and not just doing those changes in camera raw?
@EspenJohan3 жыл бұрын
Hope I can be as good as you editing photos. I see that you are using a mac mini, are you happy with it?. Im thinking of switching from a pc, is it good in video editing. I edit in Davinci Resolve and some in premiere pro.
@MarkMcGeePhotos3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yeah I’m really happy with it. I use davinci too. Handles 30 FPS timeline playback fine. Grading slows things down a bit but not too much. Fusion slows even further but cannot complain for £1100! Best computer yet for me.

You advertise your vid as on "Lr" and "Photoshop". But it's really on "LrC" and Photoshop. Adobe made a monumental goof in naming their two photo products in such a confusing way, but you seem like a smart enough guy so I'd think you can get over the confusion and name things what Adobe named them. (I sought out your vid to see how to do a round trip between Lr (note: not LrC) and Photoshop. It's not the same.)
