Mecha'thun Demon Hunter?! Is it even POSSIBLE? | Hearthstone

The goal of this Hearthstone Demon Hunter OTK combo deck is to use Mecha'thun combined with Voodoo Doll and Immolation Aura! We do this by double discounting these cards with Emperor Thaurissan and Drakkari Enchanter. Then, we empty our deck and hand and play Mecha'thun, Voodoo Doll and Immolation Aura! that's a good idea. Double clock + meta + Garrison = 40dmg OTK if I'm not mistaken. Also, I highly doubt it but I wonder if Justicar would upgrade/do anything to meta.

I want a to see a Genn reno version of this deck. -would EVEN be easier, because Zephrys can give shadow word death. For 2 card mechathun combo.

you'd need to get the shadowword death before the combo turn when the enemy has a card you can remove with it, bc if you just play zeph and cthun in the same turn you don't have a clear board since zeph is still around, but that combo should totally be doable if you get the right set-up. Some match-ups don't allow you to get that zeph shadowword death tho which can be tricky.

Zephrys knows it has a deathrattle, but not what the deathrattle does. Zephrys also doesn't know what's in your hand and whether or not you have something to deal with a large minion in hand already. I can't remember where I read about that.

Jacob But when you play Zephrys any turn with 2 mana left, while the opponent has a 5+ Attack minion on board, you can generate a SW Death, that you don’t use, but keep in hand for the future combo turn. Only one emperor tick on death and mechathun and it’s the combo with an empty hand. Thus this combo only requires 3 cards (Zephrys, mechathun, emperor) in deck, compared to 5 cards in this combo. As all the cards, Zephrys, mechathun and emperor are even as is reno, you can play a meme Genn Reno Mechathun. Making your 1 cost hero power cost 1, which is considered a good meme by the hearthstone community, see solem and roffle.

hey mark try this idea of mine in hunter : use seeping oze (6mana copy a deathrattle in your deck) to copy warbringer deathrattle (9 mana give all minions in your hand +3/3) try to trigger it as much as possible by running play dead and stuff even nine lifes could be good if you run zuljin and you can run low cost minions that has great text but low stats for great value

im not sure how you would pull this off but how about a combo where you force the opponent to draw their entire deck, give them a death wing in hand, force them to play that deathwing, then kill deathwing with something like shadow word: death.

I have to wonder how many "blunders" are because the opponent recognizes you as the crazy combo guy and want to see the combo go off. Also, it really is a shame that Mecha'thuns kill animation is so anemic considering how often it ended up being used. Even the four horsemen kill was more elaborate.

Naw just playing it onnthe nova turn puts it back in the shamans deck and hes free to mechathun unless the shaman top decks it

@@Xweiyiq Actually, you're wrong. Nova does 1 damage, twice, not 2 damage once. Mechathun would die to the voodoo doll's deathrattle before the weasel would. GG rip.

@@WagesOfWar not the mechathun turn you dip, the turn before he had playing the 4 damage pulse that would have killed it and it was 0 mana so he could have played it on the same turn with no issue.
